Dear Sacred Heart parish family,
As we say farewell to the year 2011 and getting into 2012, we very joyfully thank God and one another, for all the won-derful things happened and all the accomplishments we have done in this past year! With our deep faith and Trust in Him, we continue our mission as a Catholic community, here at Lawrenceburg!
Let this coming year be a great opportunity for all of us to renew our commitment, and strengthen our Faith, as we cele-brate the 125 Jubilee of our Church in May!
We have already started the New Missal and we are mak-ing efforts to bring more devotion and reverence in the Cele-bration of the Eucharist and in all our liturgical celebrations. As part of these efforts, I want all the Eucharistic Ministers to be present in one of the Masses next weekend, Jan. 7-8, to be officially installed as the Eucharistic Ministers. This is required, and so please try to be there for this ceremony.
On Monday, January 9th, right after the 8:00 Mass, I will be leaving for India to visit my ageing dad and the rest of my family. So the next two weekends I will not be here; Father Bernard Niedergeses will be celebrating Mass with you on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, and on Wednesdays and Thursdays Father James Panackal will be here for the Mass. Please welcome them and make them feel at home and wel-comed!
I assure you that you all will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please pray for me and my family too. For any reason if you want to contact me, you can reach me at 931-922-0246.

Our Nursery
Our nursery is closed today (January 1, 2012) for New Year’s Day (Solemnity of Mary) so that all might enjoy these holidays. The nursery will re-open on January 8th. The staff will be Blake & Suzy Brewer.

Sisters of Mercy Announce Retreats
A series of silent retreats will be held at Mercy Convent, 2629 Pennington Bend Road, Nashville on the following dates:
Jan. 13-15, 2012 Feb. 23-25, 2012 March 23-25, 2012 April 27-20, 2012 Each begins with the evening meal on the first day of retreat and closes at 5 pm on the last day. Fee is sliding scale $110—$150 with lodging and all meals provided. Individual retreats are available by appointment. Contact Sister Eileen Mary for more information/registration at 480-8202.
