Barbecue Cutters Needed!
A number of cutters are needed to chop up the BBQ on Labor Day morning! If you can help out, please bring your knife & cutting board and report to the school at any time between 5:30 am and 6:00 am. Help Needed!! Helpers are needed to unload the yard sale goods from the outside trailer. This will be done af-ter 5:30 pm Mass on Saturday, September 5th.

SHARE class will resume on Sunday, Sep-tember 20th at 9:15 am until 10 in the school. For newcomers, SHARE is an adult faith formation & fel-lowship class taught by Dr. Scott Benefield. During Advent, the class will include WhyCatholic. Refresh-ments will be served. Dr. Benefield will also teach our RCIA ses-sions, beginning Monday, September 28th at 6:30 pm. Labor Day Festival Announcements
• There are sign up sheets on the back tables for the following LDF events:
1. womanless beauty contest 2. horseshoe throw 3. donut eating contest 4. Labor Day Bake-Off—submit your favorite homemade baked good for judging!
• Donations for the auction are needed: sports tickets, concert tickets, trips, time-shares, any high value items
If you have these to give, please contact Kristy Whitehead (766-0391) or Karen White (766-2181).
• No more cups or glasses are needed! • However, tomatoes, baked goods, & desserts
are requested & may be brought to the school on the morning of 9/7.
• Flowers to decorate the tables may also be brought to the school on the morning of 9/7.
• Yard sale items may be placed in the trailer behind the gym.

11 am: SH Grill opens; donut eating contest, ages 16 & up, male & female category, $10 entry fee; bake-off contest (pies, cakes, cookies, breads, other, $5 entry fee.
12 pm: games, kiddie cars, dunking booth, putt-putt, & bouncing fortress open
2 pm: auction begins in the gym
4 pm: BBQ/chicken dinner begins; runs until 7 pm
6 pm: womanless beauty contest.

First Choir Practice
All cantors & choir members are asked to attend a meeting on Tuesday, September 8th at 7 pm. This meeting will be held in the school. We plan to organize the music which is stored in the church before the new liturgical year begins. “Many hands make light work,” so all cantors & choir members are needed!
