Lenten Sermon Series – Rehab
Our Lenten series in 2018 will follow the series from Discipleship Ministries of the United Methodist Church entitled – Rehab. In general, the word, rehabilitate, means to restore to a condition of good health; to restore to a good condition or operation; or to restore a person’s reputation. The annual observance of the Lenten discipline among Christians is a perfect way to seek restoration for our lives in spirit, mind, and body. It is a time to reflect, take stock of our spiritual condition, and realign our lives. Each Sunday of Lent will focus on the Scriptures that provide the core guidance for our Rehab journey. Our desired outcome is to learn how to live differently so that the way of Jesus becomes our “new normal.” Blessings for the journey! Giving Back
As most of you know, for many years it has been
Anne Keith’s ministry to see that everyone in her
church family received a birthday card.
Anne is currently unable to continue her
ministry, and her birthday is April 1st. We
thought it would be a blessing for her church
family to send her a birthday card.
You may mail her card to: Oakview Assisted
Living, 110 Hood Road, Memory Unit,
Powdersville SC 29611, or you may put your card
in the basket marked Anne Keith located in the
Narthex.
If you have any questions, contact the office.
Thanks.
(please note that Ann is back at Oakview and not at National Health Care).
