On�the�occasion�of�Eye�Donation�fortnight,�an�awareness�on“Eye�Donation�
and�its�importance”was�organized�by�the�Doctors,�Staff�and�Students�at�Shri�
Sadguru�Seva�Sangh�Trust�for�the�patients�and�their�attendants�for�15�days.��
“Eye Donation Frotnight” - “Netradaan Pakhwada”
An�online�webinar�was�organized�on�Sunday,�August�9,�2020,�under�the�aegis�
of�All�India�Ophthalmological�Society.�In�this�program,�an�online�seminar�was�
organized� collectively� by� the� head� of� medical� institutes� associated� with�
reputed�and�renowned�eye�services�of�entire�India.�In�this�webinar,�Gurudev�
Sri�Sri�Ravi�Shankar�was�the�eminent�spiritual�master�and�the�pioneer�of�the�
Art� of� Living� Institute� as� the� free� keynote� speaker.� Through� this� online�
webinar,� Dr.� B.K.� Jain,� Trustee�&�Director� Shri� Sadguru� Seva� Sangh� Trust�
along�with�the�eminent�heads�of�other�institutes�discussed�the�impact�of�the�
corona�epidemic�on�the�spiritual�and�mental�life�of�the�individual�and�the�

Digital�platform.�With�the�help�of�Online�Live�Class�lectures,�Digital�Classes�
and� Zoom� conference,� students� are� virtually� attending� the� schools� in� the�
Lockdown�due�to�COVID�19.�Daily�such�classes� for�each�subjects�are�being�
conducted�by�the�school�teachers.�Teachers�are�interacting�with�students�and�
clearing� their� doubts� for� any� subject� related� quarries,� Sharing� Notes,� E-�
Books,�worksheet� through�e-mail� and�various�other�digital� Channels.� This�
initiative� is�not�only�supporting�students� in�studies�but�also�making�them�
realise�that�even�in�adverse�times�our�determination�and�attitude�helps�us�
come�out�of�it.�

Shri�Sadguru�Seva�Sangh�Trust�Anandpur�actively�carried�out�various�relief�work�ranging�
from�free�food�items�(raw-material)�distribution�in�remote�areas�to�free�distribution�of�
food� packets� to� migrant� labor� and� other� people� during� lock� down� period� due� to�
pandemic�COVID-19.�Items�of�daily�needs�such�as�pulses,�edible�oil,�sugar,�spices�etc.�
were�distributed�to�the�tribal�communities�(Sehriya�Tribes)�in�district�Vidisha�and�Guna�
of�Madhya�Pradesh.�
Free�food�and�water�facilities�were�provided�to�migrant�workers�during�pandemic�time�
who�were�travelling�by�foot�and�vehicles�across�districts�and�state�at�Rahimpur�Square�in�
Sironj� block� of� district� Vidisha.� The� trust� also� collaborated� with� different� local�
organizations�and�groups�to�extend�their�support�to�the�needy�in�this�difficult�time.�In�
Narmada�Ghati�in�Badwani�district�of�Madhya�Pradesh�the�trust,�in�collaboration�with�
Narmada�Samagra�Sansthan,�distributed�essential�food�item�kits�to�suffering�families.�
Relief�work�was�also�extended�to�rural�pockets�of�Badwani,�Dhar�and�Alirajpur�district.

74th�Independence�Day�was�celebrated�across�the�trust�with�great�joy�and�
enthusiasm.� Tri-color�was� unfolded� at� Prarthna�Bhavan,� Sadguru�Nagar,�
Anandpur�by�Shri�Goverdhan�Upadhyay�Trustee�in�delightful�presence�of�Dr.�
Vishnu�Jobanputra,�Shri�Dheerubhai�Hariani�and�members�from�Sadguru�
family.�

Dhanbhai�Sen�55�Yrs� female� � visited�Sadguru�Sankalp�Netra�Chikitsalaya��
Anandpur.�She�lives�along�with�his�two�sons�and�their�family�in�a�Kachcha�
household�in�the�village.�Due�to�diminished�vision,�she�was�having�difficulty�
in�seeing�distance�objects�and�her�mobility�was�restricted.�
Her� younger� son� was� informed� about� SSNC� by� the� villagers� who�
accompanied�her�to�the�hospital.�On�examination,�she�was�diagnosed�as�a�
case�of�BE�Cataract�and�was�admitted�for�RE�surgery.
She�was�discharged�on�the�next�day�after�surgery�and�is�now�very�happy�to�
regain�her�vision.�She�returned�happily�along�with�her�son�who�appreciated�
the�patient�centric�services�provided�by�SSNC.�

puts�lot�of�efforts�to�cater�the�eye�care�services�effectively.�The�feel�of�being�blessed,�
cured�and�regaining�the�vision�is�the�extremity�of�SNC�which�reflects�on�the�individuals�
who�are�being�cured.�The�below�case�story�narrates�about�the�eight-year-old�boy�Ayan�
and�also�about�their�parent's�delightful�experience�in�SNC.
�(Ayan's�Father…)�With�a�lot�of�hope�and�belief�filled�in,�we�started�our�journey�to�Chitrakoot,�a�feel�of�
optimism�and�a�feel�pleasantness�was�all�around�the�place.�In�Children�Eye�Care�Centre�
(CECC)� of� SNC,� Ayan� was� diagnosed� with� Retinal� problem� (Retinal� detachment� a�
problem�where�retina�separates�from�back�of�the�eye)�after�consulting�the�respective�
consultant� in� the� department,� we� were� counselled� regarding� Ayan's� surgery� and�
without�any�hesitation�either�thinking�about�our�financial�circumstances�we�agreed�for�
his�surgery.�The�surgery�went�successful�and�our�child�restored�his�vison.�All�we�wanted�
for�him�is�to�regain�his�vison�and�become�a�professional�in�his�later�life.�SNC�supported�
and�stood�by�us�by�not�letting�our�dreams�to�fail,�we�are�very�thankful�and�our�gratitude�
towards�SNC�will�stay�forever…�
