AS/NZS 4602.1:2011Under this standard, the design of HUSKI Work wear is based on the requirements of workers to be visible by operators of vehicles approaching them at speed in field situations – affording the vehicle operators opportunity to take evasive action.To meet this standard, the garment must first meet AS/NZS 1906.4:2010 (fabrics to be of stipulated luminosity and chromaticity).
AS/NZS 1906.4:2010HUSKI Work wear utilizes Hi Visibility fluorescent fabric that complies with a specific colour range for chromaticity and luminosity requirements after UV exposure. This gives the wearer the assurance that they are visible in high risk industrial situations.
AS 2755 Standard sets out a method for the measurement of ease of ignition for FR fabrics.
ISO 15025 This is an international standard for FR Protective Clothing – Protection against heat and flame via limited flame spread properties.
ASTM F1959An ARC flash is an explosive release of energy that potentially contains thermal and sound energy, shock waves and dangerous debris. It is caused by an electrical arc and can reach high temperatures of 2500oC and more. An Arc Flash results in combustion of regular work wear causing severe burns and possible death to personnel involved. The ASTM F1959 standard determines the Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV) of Clothing by electrical arc method. Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV) refers to the maximum incident energy that the protective clothing can withstand before breaking down and exposing the wearer to potentially fatal burns.Heat Attenuation Factor (HAF) is the amount of heat blocked by the fabric. A 100% FR garment does not mean that all of the heat to which it is exposed. HAF of 84% means that the FR garment will block 84% of the heat the fabric encounters.
EN 1149Test for Protective Clothing with Electrostatic Properties. Garments with electrostatic dissipative properties are required when the worker is exposed to environments where a spark on to the garment could cause explosions or ignite fires (e.g. petrol stations, petrol tanker drivers, flour mills, clean rooms etc)

Huski exclusively uses internationally recognised 3m tape for all our Day/Night class safety wear.
SPF rating meaures the Ultraviolet radiation that penetrates fabric to the skin.
Some Huski garments utilize Cordura® in their design to maximize their tear and abrasion resistance in high stress areas.
These garments are designed with a high % of natural fibres to reduce the build up of naturalstatic electicity -standard EN 1149.
