The South African Hajj and Umrah Council a voluntary non-profit association has been serving the South African community for 24 years with the sole purpose of promoting and overseeing the welfare, well-being and interests of the South African Pilgrims who undertake Hajj and Umrah. Alhamdulillah by the will and grace of Allah SWT, SAHUC has grown and has reached many milestones to date. "The primary objective of the South African Hajj and Umrah Council is founded on serving the pilgrim and acting in their best interest. This great journey to the House of Allah, while being a ONCE IN A LIFETIME UNDERTAKING has always been coupled with many life- changing moments, experiences and challenges. Facilitating these memories with the greatest of ease is what SAHUC aims to achieve to the best of its ability. Total perfection only belongs to Allah, the Almighty, while striving for excellence is the responsibility of the servant of Allah who is riddled with imperfections. In this pursuit, we are grateful to Allah and acknowledge the efforts of all stakeholders within and beyond the structures of the organisation who lent shoulder to the wheel in ensuring a smooth Hajj season 1440. May Allah accept the pilgrimage of all those who set foot on the Blessed Lands and may all those who, in whatever way, facilitated this pillar of Islam for them be immensely rewarded. The choice to leave behind a legacy of goodness or a trail of criticism is in your hands."
