A rumination and embod-iment of illness, aging, limited mobility, and grief. A seven hour exploration in tribute to the last 7 months of the artist’s mother’s battle with terminal illness. What happens when the body can’t go on, but must go on? What happens when the will is inhibited by the limitations of the body and its ultimate expiration?

Dedicated to Irina P. Stew-art (1967-2013)

I am reuniting with lost parts of me, even if only for closure. I am saying, “allow me to introduce myself,” again and again and again. I am talking to and through all my selves, inviting and expecting you to listen. Indulge me, and don’t forget to thank Lisa, whom I would not be.
