CATHOLIC HOME MISSIONS COLLECTION

Many dioceses here in the United States face challenges

due to priest shortages, lack of funds, remote geography, or

impoverished parishes. The Catholic Home Missions

Appeal supports these dioceses that struggle to make ends

meet and to serve the many needs of their parishioners.

Please be generous on the weekend of February 3rd to help

strengthen the Church at home. Your support will truly

make a difference.

THANK YOU FROM THE VETERANS’ MINISTRY

Thank you to all parishioners who donated to the

“Spread the Warmth” coat drive for the Veteran’s

Ministry. We had one entire car filled to the brim with

warm coats, scarves, mittens, and even some socks that

were included in the donation boxes. So, on behalf of the

Veteran’s Ministry, we would like to thank our parish

families for donating items that will provide warmth and

protection in the cold winter months to follow. It is

because of your kindness and consideration that we can

provide for those in need. With heartfelt gratitude and

appreciation, thank you and God Bless.

3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time

“Go, eat rich foods and drink sweet drinks, and allot

portions to those who had nothing prepared…” (Nehemiah

8:10) Ezra’s instructions to the people show us that God

does not forbid us from enjoying the good things in life. He

wants us to be happy! However, God expects us to be

grateful for all that He has given us and to generously share

our blessings with those who are in need without expecting

anything in return.
