Cemetery Update As you may have noticed, major landscape work

has been done at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, cutting back overgrown trees and brush and

removing dead trees. This is the first phase of the work. In late September, the Cremation Section will be attended to, with additional dirt brought

in to properly grade and seed the area for a more uniform appearance.

Thank you for your patience as we complete this much needed work.

THINKING ABOUT BECOMING CATHOLIC?

YOU ARE CATHOLIC BUT HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR FIRST COMMUNION OR CONFIRMATION?

WHY NOT LOOK INTO ST. JOSEPH’S RCIA PROGRAM?

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

A TWELVE WEEK PROGRAM RCIA is the process by which the Catholic Church directs and supports the way of faith and conversion by which adults (and children who have reached the age of reason) are initiated into the Catholic Church. RCIA is for those who are not Catholic and who desire to be baptized, receive First Holy Communion and Confirmation. RCIA is also for those non-Catholics who were Baptized into other Christian Communities and now desire to be brought into the Catholic Faith. RCIA is also for those Catholics who desire the Sacrament of Confirmation and seek to be fully initiated into the life of the Church. Classes are usually offered in the early fall and are completed on Holy Saturday at the Easter Vigil. If you have any questions about the process please reach out to Fr. Lagiovane at the Parish Office- 914- 232- 2910 Classes begin in early September
