We are grateful to our faithful parishioners and welcome our neighbors and guests who visit us occasionally. We want you to know that you are always welcome! All parishioners should be registered with the parish office. Please notify the parish if you change your address or move out of the parish. Certificates of eligibility to sponsor at Baptism or Confirmation will be given only to registered parishioners who are active and practicing Catholics.

    Parish Offertory Collection: (Excludes WeShare)

    Stewardship Reflection

Then they opened their treasures and offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Mt. 2:11 The image of the Magi kneeling before the infant Jesus and opening their treasure chests for Him is an image that we should all try to follow all year long. In gratitude for all that we have been given, we are called to generously share all of our gifts, not just the ones we pick and choose. God wants us to be the most generous with that one thing that means the most to us.

Together in Charity Collection This weekend the annual Together in Charity Collection will be taken up at all Masses. The proceeds from this collection help the Parish Emergency Assistance Program, a program of Catholic Charities that provides 24 hour/seven days a week assistance to parishes faced with individuals and families with serious and urgent financial, housing or medical needs. Last year, two-thirds of the parishes in the Diocese availed themselves of this program in obtaining help for 1,271 individuals and families (including 578 children). Catholic Charities ability to help each parish meet the growing need for financial assistance in their community depends on the success of this collection. Please give generously to this collection and contribute to making this a grace-filled new year for a family or individual in crisis.

Foundation for Catholic Education We will have a second collection next weekend, January 14-15 for the Foundation for Catholic Education, a diocesan fund that provides tuition assistance grants for students in financial need in the Catholic elementary and high schools of the Diocese of Metuchen. Without financial assistance, these students might not receive the gift of a Catholic education. Please be as generous as your means allow.

St. Mary Byzantine Church Slavic Dinner St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church will sponsor the Slavic Dinner on Wednesday, January 11th from 4-7 pm at their parish center (1900 Brooks Blvd., Hillsborouth). The cost is $15 for adults and $5 for children (ages 8 and under) and includes all you can eat Pirohi, Stuffed Cabbage, Kielbasa & Sauerkraut, Mashed Potatoes, salad, dessert and beverage. Dinners are held on the second Wednesday of every month throughout the year. Orders to go are available. For more info, contact St. Marys at 908-725-0615.

Bus Trip to the Rally for Life in Trenton The Diocese of Metuchens Office of Respect for Life will be running a bus trip to the Rally for Life in Trenton, NJ on Monday, January 23, 2017. The bus ride is free of charge, but since space is limited all passengers must reserve their seats. Passengers will board the bus at the Diocesan Center in Piscataway at 9:30 am.
