March 20, 2016 Palm Sunday ATTENTION CCD PARENTS We will not have class for two weeks in order for everyone to participate in our Holy Week and Easter! We will resume class on Tuesday, April 5th and Wednesday, April 6th. This will be our last parent session in English. ALTAR SOCIETY PALM SUNDAY BREAKFAST Everyone is invited to come to the Altar Society’s annual Pancake Breakfast on Palm Sunday, March 20th from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cost per person is $7.00 for Adults and $4.00 for Children ages 3-10. Please come and support our annual fundraiser. Tickets will be sold at the door. Our proceeds go directly to purchasing Altar Flowers and Communion Bread for our church. For advanced tickets, please contact Linda Lima at 209 838-8555. THE MEN OF ST. PATRICK’S All “Men of St. Patrick’s” are invited to meet on Tuesday, March 22nd at 6:15PM in the Chapel to pray the Rosary for all priests especially Fr. Jeff Wilson. The regular social, dinner, Fr. Jeff’s presentation, and the meeting will follow in the hall. DIVINE MERCY NOVENA The Divine Mercy Novena begins on Good Friday. Please join us in the church after Good Friday services to pray the novena. We will be praying the Divine Mercy Novena daily as a parish family in the Holy Angels chapel at 3:00PM for the following 8 days consecutively. DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY HOLY HOUR (Exposition/Adoration/Benediction) Join us on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 3rd! First, we will start with a movie “Faustina: Apostle of Mercy” at 1:00PM in the parish hall (free will offering accepted), then at 3:00PM in the church for a very special Divine Mercy Holy Hour and a dessert social in the hall immediately following. WALK FOR LIFE Join us for the Walk for Life on Good Friday, March 25 at 8:00AM. Please park and gather at Eastridge Community Church, 2300 E. Briggsmore at Oakdale Road, Modesto. The prayer walk will conclude at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Please bring a rosary, pro-life sign and a friend. CAN YOU SPARE SOME CALLA LILIES FOR THE BLESSED SACRAMENT? If so, we need lots of Calla Lilies to help make the Altar of Repose beautiful for Holy Thursday. Please deliver these fresh flowers to the church rectory by Wednesday, March 23rd. If you have any questions or would like someone to pick up the flowers, please call Linda Lima at 838-8555.

Please help make Easter beautiful! The Altar Society is currently asking for donations to help purchase Easter Lilies. If money is donated in memory or in honor of a loved one, please write a notation on the envelope. Please put the envelope in the Collection Basket or drop off at the Church Office.
