our Lord Jesus. Mary was always willing to say
Yes! to God.

The Prayer of St. Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Amen.
St. Francis of Assisiwas born to a very wealthy family but
gave up all material wealth to love and
serve the Lord.

St. Therese of Lisieux
loved Jesus so much that she wanted
to become a nun at a very young age.
Her Little Way of loving Jesus was
by loving everyone in any and
every small way she could.
The Little Way
"Love proves itself by deeds, so how am
I to show my love? Great deeds are
forbidden me. The only way I can prove
my love is by scattering flowers
and these flowers are every little
sacrifice, every glance and word,
and the doing of the least actions
for love."

St. Juan Diego
saw a vision of Mary on a hill one day.
She told him she wanted a church built on the
hill. St. Juan Diego needed a sign of proof
for others to believe that he really saw Mary.
She gave him special flowers to pick andcarry in his cloak as proof. When he opened
up his cloak to show the flowers, everyone was
surprised to see an image of Our Lady on the
cloak! Soon after, a church was built on the site
where Our Lady appeared, and thousands
converted to Christianity.
