* Fluorescent tubes used to be disposed of at the fluorescent tube barrels in the city's facilities, but as of April 1st, 2017 they will now be collected at waste and recycling collection points. Additionally, the collection methods for recyclable paper and cloth have changed. Please check the “Major Waste and Recycling Categories” list for details on the changes.

* Even for categories collected on the same day, magazines, miscellaneous paper, newspapers, and paper cartons as well as cardboard and recyclable cloth are all col-lected by separate trucks. The same goes for fluorescent tubes, PET bottles, and non-burnable waste, all will be collected by separate trucks.Even if other types of waste remain at the collection point, categories that have al-ready been collected once will not be collected again. For this reason, it is important that you make sure to bring out all waste and recycling to their collection points by 8:30 am.
