Historical background
✓ August 1959: Concession granted by the Government
✓ Civil war: SRC factory complex and plantation were rebel bases
• The situation was:
o Most infrastructures had to be rebuilt
o Old housing were replaced with new ones and with new design
o There were no operations during the civil crisis
o Trees older than economic life of 32 years
✓ 2007: SRC merged with WRC to form Salala Rubber Corporation
✓ 2011: ISO 9001 certification obtained for the rubber factory
✓ 2012: The rubber factory was closed
✓ 2016: ISO 14001:2004 certification obtained for the plantation
✓ 2017: ISO 14001:2015 re-certification obtained
✓ 4 577 ha planted until 2017
