About usWe met in Middle School and have been a major part of each other’s lives for over 18 years. We grew close in high school going on mission trips with the church youth group and spending time together with friends. Actually, in the beginning, Samantha found Eric quite annoying. Just goes to show that boys that pick on you, really do like you! It wasn’t until a mission trip to Florida our sophomore year of high school that we really became close. A friend in our youth group called it when she suspected a deeper relationship brewing. She couldn’t have been more right as we became a couple just two months later. The rest is history and here we are married for 11 years and more in love now than ever before.

We have a 4-year old adopted son that we love more than words can say. He is the light of our life. We also have two little dogs, Bolt and Zoey. They are energetic and playful and we love spending time at home with our family. We love to travel and go on fun adventures together. We enjoy exploring new places and making memories together. Eric is really into fitness and sports and loves working out on a daily basis. Samantha likes to read, decorate and do crafts when she finds the time. Our summers are spent boating with friends and family, going camping, and having bonfires in our back yard. Our greatest happiness is in creating memories together. We value hard work, family, and loving and supporting each other. We can’t wait to add to our family and continue this wonderful adventure of life!

We live in the country just one mile from Eric’s family farm. Our home is a ranch-style house that sits on a 2-acre lot with mature trees and a fenced in backyard where our son plays and the dogs love to run around. We have neighbors close-by with children of all ages and families of all backgrounds. Our community has great schools, many parks and activities for families as well as a weekly farmer’s market from spring to fall. We are just 15 minutes away from lots of shopping and restaurants.

Our house has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a completely finished basement with lots of extra space, and a great deck with a large fire pit in the backyard where we love to spend our time in the summer and fall months. Our backyard is perfect for family get-togethers. We love having people over to play games in the backyard and it is the perfect place for our friend’s children to run around safely and play.

My wife is the most beautiful person I know inside and out. She is warm and kind hearted. If you ever need anything, she would do it for you at a drop of a hat. She would bend over backwards to make sure you were happy and well taken care of. I love knowing that going through life, no matter what is going on, good or bad, she will always be by me and never leave my side. She is a great leader and very strong willed. She is my rock, and when I struggle I know she is there to support me and lift my spirit. No matter work or play she always achieves excellence, and strives to be the best she can be. Because of who she is inside and out, she is the most beautiful person I know, and I know for a fact I could not find a more perfect person for me in my life. She is a wonderful mother to our son and I can’t wait to grow our family with her by my side.

I am so grateful to have Eric in my life. He is the most wonderful husband and my best friend. He is the hardest working person I have ever known and he is a wonderful provider for our family. Eric is silly and sweet, headstrong and determined. He is motivated and driven in all aspects of his life. He loves to work out every day and eat healthy. He cares for others and is always giving of himself to help anyone in need. He always puts others before himself, including me, and will inconvenience himself to take care of others. He is extremely giving. Eric has a very strong faith and encourages me to as well. Eric is a dedicated husband and an amazing father! I am so blessed to get to spend my life with him!

We are surrounded by a great family and many good friends. We both come from a close loving family and most of our time is spent with them. Eric comes from a smaller family while Samantha has a much larger family and many extended family members. Eric’s parents are just one mile down the road and Samantha’s family is just 10 minutes across town. Samantha also has many close family members that live in another state that she loves to visit and spend time with when she can. She has two sisters very close-by as well as a sister and two brothers out of state. Family is extremely important to us and our children will grow up surrounded by loving grandparents, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

We are very blessed to have a lot of awesome people in our lives. We have a great group of close friends that we also spend a lot of time with. Many of our friends have children of their own and they are all so excited to join us on our adoption journey. Our friends are really just our extended family and we love experiencing life with them.

In 2015 we adopted our son. Becoming parents has been the greatest joy of our lives! Watching our son grow and learn is such a fun experience. We have always wanted a large family with 4 or 5 children, and adoption has always been special to us! After many years of infertility, there was no doubt that adoption was God’s plan for our family. We can’t wait to add to our family. We have so much love to give and are so excited to bring this little one home!
