sampad: promoting excellence and access in south asian arts since 1990

Welcometo our Spring Season programme. As always we have lots in store for you, from dance, music and theatre to visual art and spoken word. From big Bollywood stars to local, emerging talent.

After an expensive festive season, we know you may be feeling the pinch, so we have kept our prices as low as possible, so you can still enjoy the fantastic events we have lined up.

Mid-day Mantra (page 3), our free monthly classical music concert continues on Saturday afternoons at Symphony Hall.

We’re also introducing a Season Saver pass, which we will be giving out at events as a thank you to our valued audiences for your continued support. This will give you access to exclusive special offers and discounts for other events this Spring, so make sure you get yours!

If you’re coming to an event with family or friends, you can get a Group Booking discount at all our events - buy 10 tickets, get one free.

Asian Spring (page 7), our annual showcase returns to Town Hall in April, celebrating the amazing talent of some of the Midland’s best dance groups, and a huge range of South Asian dance styles from the old to the new.

To celebrate, we have teamed up with popular Birmingham restaurant Milan Indian Cuisine. If you book your Asian Spring tickets by Thursday 31st March, you will be entered into a prize draw to win a free Meal for Two, so don’t delay! The lucky winner will be announced at the event.

For more information about any of our Spring events, keep an eye on our website. Join our mailing list online for more special offers, competitions and rewards, and follow us on Facebook and Twitter to stay up-to-date with all our latest news.

Best wishes,

Piali Ray OBE, Director
