If you feel that you can endorse each candidate and amendment as shown on this sample you can use this as a guide when you enter the election booth and mark a well-defined cross in the corresponding squares on the official ballot which will be handed to you by the election officers. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOUR FIRST CROSS IS MADE IN THE CIRCLE UNDER THE LEGEND "DEMOCRATIC TICKET" SO THAT IF YOU SHOULD ACCIDENTALLY OVERLOOK ANY INDIVIDUALNAMES IN THE LONG COLUMN, THEY WOULD BE PROVIDED FOR ANYWAY. If after making a cross in the circle as indicated, you desire to vote for a candidate on any other ticket, you can place a cross in the square opposite the name of such person, when it will be counted for such candidate. On the non-partisan judi- ciary ticket which you will find at bottom of the ballot, you have the privilege of writing in the name of a candidate on the dotted line, or using a sticker, but whether you use a sticker or write the name you MUST place a cross in the square to the right of the name.
