-Stethoscopesortissuetubes
Procedure:1. Discussthejobofaperson’sheart,visitoneofthewebsitesbeloworreadabout
whataheartdoes.
2. Havestudentsfindtheirheartbeat,orpulse,byfeelingtheirneck(gently)orwrist.3. Obtaincheapstethoscopesormakeyourown(tissuerolls).Letyourchildrenlisten
toeachotherheartbeats.
4. Havestudentsexerciseforafewminutesandlistentoeachotherheartbeatsagain.Seeiftheycantelladifference.
Explanation:
