SAMPLE QUESTIONSMath Prescreening Assessment Before you begin your first course at BIR Training Center, your math skills will be assessed. The purpose of this assessment is to determine if you will need additional courses. These sample questions will show you the kinds of questions to expect in the actual assessment. You will find a range of math tasks here. There are basic operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with whole numbers, decimals and fractions. You will compute time, length, and prices, and use percentages. You will get numerical information from charts and tables and descriptive statements. This sample includes items that are about the same level of difficulty as the actual placement test. You’ll find answers to these sample questions at the end.
