What to ExpectConstruction is slated to begin in late June 2019 with a planned completion by the end of September 2019.

Work in the City of Campbell will occur between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Work in the City of San José will occur between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Work crews will use heavy machinery, trucks and tools such as concrete mixers, pump trucks, excavators, dump trucks and other miscellaneous equipment. When warranted, water trucks will be used to control dust.

Residents can expect typical construction noise, dust from operating heavy equipment, and an increase of traffic volume near the project site limits and on San Tomas Expressway. Traffic control efforts, and temporary lane closures on San Tomas Expressway are also anticipated. Construction crews and equipment will be accessing the creek through gates at Payne, Hamilton, Campbell, Rincon and Virginia Avenues.
