Lifetouch Portrait Sessions for our directory will be on Thursday and Friday, August 17th and 18th from 1-8 p.m. and Saturday, August 19 th from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. You can make your appointment after church on Wednesdays or Sundays, call the church office, click the link on the church website, or access the Lifetouch appointment website directly at https://booknow-lifetouch.appointment-plus.com/y1hz304e/.
Business Conference will be on Wednesday, July 19th at 6:30 p.m.
Vacation Bible School will be on Thursday and Friday, July 27th and 28th at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 29th at 9:00 a.m. The theme is Passport to Peru.
There Is A New Sign-Up sheet on the bulletin board for meals for the Elliotts/Proffitts.
Night Out Against Crime Bake Off will be at the Aviary in Miller Park on Tuesday, August 1st from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Categories are cakes, pies, and cookies. Call 455-6070 for more information.
Klothes 4 Kids – Our church has been assigned clothing for Boys Size 7. Items include size 6/7 or 7/8 shirts, boxer shorts size 7/8, jeans size 7 and medium size socks. Various school supplies are also needed. Volunteers are needed for various positions. Please see the newsletter for more details. All donations must be turned in to the church by Sunday, July 30th. Thank you in advance for your donations.
The Red Truck Ministry is starting a Saturday schedule the second and fourth weeks of the month. If anyone is interested in helping with this ministry, please contact the LBA office at 434-316-8382. We will be collecting beanie weenies and tuna for The Red Truck Ministry, which are greatly needed. Baby food and fruit cups are also needed. Please remember to check expiration dates.
Join Us Wednesday Mornings for our deacon sponsored prayer meetings “A Time with God” 9:00-9:30 a.m.
L.A.C.E. will distribute water bottles at Blackwater Creek Trail on Thursday, July 20th from 6-7 p.m. Come join us. All are welcome.Deacons Meeting will be at Golden Corral on Friday, July 21st at 8:00 a.m. Your active deacons are David Smith, Louis Gallaher, Jerry Poff, David Marsh, and Randy Cash. Also needed are deacons to help lead Wednesday morning prayer/devotion meeting. See Walt.
