O
T here’s something here for all who love sailing. Each year, our active Cruising Fleet organizes a full schedule of rendezvous, sail-aways and cruises. Our award winning racing program offers opportunities for beginning racers, experienced club racers, those interested in distance and offshore racing and a thriving centerboard fleet with regular racing during the week and on weekends. In addition, Sandusky Sailing Club supports a great Learn-to Sail organization for youth and young adults, a growing Community Sailing Program and a well organized junior race team where school age youth and young adults can continue to hone their racing and sailing skills. These programs are not just exciting summertime adventures for youth, but an investment in the future of competitive and recreational sailing for the Sandusky Sailing Club and the communities we serve.
he Sandusky Sailing Club is fortunate to boast an enviable physical facility with a versatile, full-service clubhouse, a junior barn and extensive equipment for our learn-to-sail and junior racing programs – all this overlooking a well maintained, exclusively sailboat marina. An active year-round social program compliments our many and varied sailing activities.
