BROKER'S COMMENTSSELJM is an extremely well built yacht that has proven sound and reliable during her worldwide cruising program. The vessel has benefitted from the same

ownership for the last 21 years and has been generously funded for safety, upgrades and maintenance. SELJM has always been classed Lloyds100 +A1.

When he bought SELJM in 1995 her owner named the project: “Around the World in Eighty Months” planning a full circumnavigation over seven years

and attending both the America’s Cup in Auckland and the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, where she was the Official VIP yacht. So successful was the

voyage that two more have been undertaken to date. SELJM has provided enormous pleasure to friends and family of her current owner, cruising in North

America, Caribbean, Polynesia, Pacific, Alaska, Central and South America, Galapagos, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Africa, Mediterranean etc - and

rounded both Capes Horn and Good Hope. She has participated in Classic Regattas; always with honours - usually winning her class. She races as

competitively as she cruises beautifully. She is a unique schooner both in design and amenities. Moreover, she offers the unique feature of four near

identical twin staterooms - each with en suite heads and an unusually large deck space; wonderful in warm weather. Her former Captain and wife were on

board for 19 years; he oversaw all yard periods and sailed all of the three circumnavigations. They competed in several Classic Regattas, always with

honours. In April 2013, SELJM won the Antigua Classic Regatta in Classics Class A and was also awarded 1st place in the "Concours d´Elegance" for

professionally maintained yachts. SELJM completed her 5 year Lloyds survey in December 2015. Then in late 2015 SELJM returned to the Caribbean for

the winter season and the 2016 Antigua Classic Regatta in Classics Class B, where she took line honours again for all 4 races but handicap into second in

each race and overall. As her owner says "This has been an exceptional voyage for us with SELJM, which sadly has come to a close. Above all I want to make

sure that her new owner will keep her in the condition she deserves, and will enjoy the same wonderful time we had with her”.
