DearSupporters, AmidstthedifferentsocietalinitiativesbeingendeavoredbySankalpEkPrayas,fortheupliftmentoftheunderprivileged,SankalpEkPrayasintroducesauniquemulti-pronged approach of supporting education of thousands ofunderprivileged children. We have developed tailor-made initiatives andprograms to address the pain-points in education for different target groupsamongstchildren.

Oursankalpsupportschoolsinitiativeisdesignedtocaterprimarilytotheunder-privileged children where the focus is primarily on developing education ecosystem in villages through institutionalizationof effective freeof cost supportschoolapproachaimingatqualityeducation.Theemergeinitiativeisaprogramcateringtowardsreachingtochildreninruralgovernmentschoolswithe-earningtechniquesaimingatbetterretentionandunderstandingofsubjects.

Our other programmes such as “School to School with Goonj”, “ConnectingDots”, “Uddan-Computer Learning Programme”, “Navodaya PreparationSupport”arebeingsmoothlyexecutedinthevillages.

§ During this programme, the children are shown many online resources and testedthroughpre test andpost test evaluation. The randomly selected childrenbefore theintervention and after the intervention have reflected significant change in theirresponsesintheareas/syllabuscoveredintheintervention.

§ The resultof testhas substantiated the significanceof this interventionandSANKALPvolunteers areworkingondeveloping the curriculum to ensure a quantifiable changethroughthisproject.

• SANKALP ispartnering“SCHOOL toSCHOOL”programmewithGOONJ (anationallyrecognizedNGO).

• UnderSCHOOLtoSCHOOLprogramme,GOONJandSANKALPreachvariousSANKALPcenters and conduct engaging sessions for kid minds. The programme aims atsensitizingchildrentowardsvariouscausesandletsthemrealizetheirownprivilegedstatus.Thisprogrammehelpsthemdevelopingintonotonlyresponsibleindividualsbutalsoassignificantchangemakerswhowillcontributepositivelytosociety.

TEACHER TRAINING CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME “SAKSHAM”

• SANKALP EK PRAYAS executed its capacity building for sustainability programme

'"SAKSHAM"throughwhichSANKALP’Ssocialworkers/teachersfromruralvillagesaretrainedinteachingmethodologythroughexpertNGOprofessionals.

• Duringthis2MonthsTeacherTrainingProgrammostly,thegraduates/undergraduatesfrom rural villages are trained inBasic English,Mathematics and Science. For eachsubject,PreTestsandPostTestsareconductedwithdifferentsetoftestpaperswithsame level of scientifically confirmed equivalency. The scores by the participantsreflectsignificantchangeintheirlevel.

• TheseteachersareinturnengagedinSANKALP’scentersinruralvillages.Thisinitiativeof SANKALP has resulted into the sustainability development as well as livelihooddevelopment.Theservicesof these trainedteachersarebeingutilized ingrooming5000childreninruralareaseveryyear.

NAVODAYA ENTRANCE PREPARATION PROGRAMME FOR 300 CHILDREN

• One of the unique interventions started in 2017-18 is SANKALP’s NAVODAYAENTRANCEPREPARATIONPROGRAMME.

• SANKALP screens300 children through rigorous selectionmechanismandprovidesthem extensive training in Navaodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Syllabus with intensivemonitoring mechanism in order to help them build their future by ensuring theirselectioningoodacademicinstitutions.

• This 6 Months endeavor includes continuous MOCK TESTs for these childrenadministeredinruralvillagesoneverySundayandcontinuoussupportandguidance.

• Approximately20Testsareadministeredincludingchapterwiseandwholesyllabuswiseundersimilarenvironmentsothatthesechildrengetaccustomedtotheentranceexaminationenvironment.

In association with Goonj, Sankalp Ek Prayas executes “School to School Programme” which includes children centric development workshops in many villages/ government schools and ensuring the availability of school kits for needy underprivileged children. Since 2016, thousands of children have been supported through this initiatives.

Sankalp ek prayas has been an NGO partner for Prayas Marathan 2018 and works closely with students of IIM Raipur. Kartavya CSR Group of IIM has done development workshops for sankalp ek prayas children and also been involved in fund raising activity of sankalp ek prayas.

Sankalp ek prayas collaborates with Bethany College of Nursing and conducts health and development workshops for thousands of children at sankalp centers. Many audio visual techniques, role play, activities, nukkar natak etc are included in the workshop and improvement in children also measured through pre test and post test measurement.

Sankalp ek prayas collaborates with Anubhuti Foundation which is a Bhilai based Ngo working for supporting adolescent girls with awareness of mensural hygiene. Sankalp Ek Prayas conducts awareness camp for adolescent girls at sankalp centers and ensure free availability of sanitary pads for adolescent girls child in villages through this collaboration.
