Introduction The company was incorporated in 1967 as

Hoechst Pakistan Limited. Manufacture of pharmaceuticals and specialty chemicals began in 1973. In 1977 the company went public and was listed on the Karachi Stock Exchange.

By virtue of several mergers, acquisitions and divestitures the company underwent several reincarnations over the years. Today, the company is sanofi-aventis Pakistan limited while the corporate identity is simply Sanofi.

Flagyl® Review

Flagyl is use for the treatment of infections of anaerobic bacteria or are suspected to be the cause.

Flagyl is active against a wide range of pathogenic micro-organisms notably species of Bacteroides, Fusobacteria, Clostridia, Eubacteria, anaerobic cocci and Gardnerella

Vaginalis.

Flagyl® (Metronidazole)

Flagyl 200mg Tablet: Each film coated tablet contains 200mg of Metronidazole B.P.

Flagyl 400mg Tablet: Each film coated tablet contains 400mg of Metronidazole B.P.

Flagyl Suspension: Each 5ml of suspension contains Metronidazole Benzoate equivalent to 200mg of Metronidazole B.P.

Flagyl Infusion: Each 100ml bottle contains 500mg of Metronidazole B.P. (0.5%W/V).
