General Changes
SAP Enable Now Info Center
To improve onboarding, various parts of the SAP Enable Now Info Center have been optimized and updated. • The look and feel have been completely reworked and
modernized. All of the templates used in the Content & Templates area can be downloaded for your own use.
• To improve the overview and traceability of special topics, the content categories have been renamed and the information has been optimized.
• To make setup and configuration more easily, new content has been provided for technical administration in the Installation & Configuration area.
Enhancement, SAP Enable Now Info Center
Producer UI
The Producer UI has been adjusted to optimize the separation of the tab bar from the workarea in the Producer. The new, modern layout saves space and emphasizes the active tab.
Optimization, Producer
Select or Create Workarea
So that you can work more efficiently with multiple workareas and create new workareas more easily, the dialog Select or Create Workarea has been reworked in the Producer:
• A list of the last-used workareas lets you quickly change between these in addition to the name and the path, a description and the date last used is also displayed for each workarea.
SAP Enable Now What‘s New General Changes PUBLIC 6
• It is now easier to create a new workarea and the UI has been reduced to the bare essentials. Next to the target directory and the description, you can now enter a separate display name for the workarea.
• The workflow for linking a workarea to SAP Enable Now Manager has been simplified with step-by-step instructions.
Optimization, Producer
New Bubble Template
To support various design guidelines, you can use the new bubble template Rectangular to create a rectangular bubble. The bubble template is based on the standard bubble White Island and can be selected in the Style Editor.
Enhancement, Producer
New Options for Creating the Library
For a more flexible creating of the library, you can use these options in the Style Editor: • The background color of the content list can be adjusted individually • The icons in the content list can be hidden, if needed • The color list under the title bar can be hidden.
Enhancement, Producer
Database Support
The Manager supports the SAP HANA 2.0 SPS 03 database.

Enhanced Options for Server-Generated E-Mails
In the server settings, you can enter a sender name or define an e-mail address for replies to e-mails sent by the Manager, such as automated notifications. This let’s e-mail recipients identify server-generated e-mails more easily, and reply to them, if necessary. Administrative users, on the other hand, can collect and process user reactions in the central inbox, so that they can redistribute critical tasks based on the out of office replies.

Preview of Images in Groups
To make adding images more user friendly, you can see a preview of all the images available in the selected folder. This makes it easier to search for and select an image.
Optimization, Producer
Automatic Deletion in the Instant Producer
To optimize the workflow, simulations assigned by the Manager and downloaded to the Instant Producer by a subject matter expert using the Check Out Projects function are deleted from the Instant Producer after processing is complete and the upload to the Manager was successful. The simulation is automatically reassigned to the previous user and the watchers are informed about the change by e-mail. This means, for example, that the subject matter expert cannot make changes once the project has been published.
Optimization, Instant Producer
Start Links
To ensure an improved overview and access, the project explorer contains the new Start Links category. This group displays all of the links available for the playback of the selected object. This includes local links, links to the authoring preview and published versions on the SAP Enable Now Manager, as well as links you‘ve defined by using a prefix. In addition, there are two new controls next to each link. These enable the copying or direct playback of the link.

CORS Wildcards
In the Server Settings for the SAP Enable Now Manager, choosing the CORS-allowed Sites option, means you can use placeholders for URLs (for example, *.hana.ondemand.com). This makes it easy to use whole domains without having to specify each and every subdomain.
Optimization, Manager (HANA)
Automatically Generated Titles
So that you can work more efficiently, objects created on the Manager‘s UI receive an automatically generated title that is made up of an object type as well as of the date and time. This should be familiar to you from the Producer. You can use this title as it is or change it.
Optimization, Manager
Downloading of Must Have Objects
To optimize the use and delivery of central resources, such as media libraries and templates during content production, the Must Have checkbox needs to be selected for groups and individual objects. All objects for which the Must Have checkbox has been selected, will be downloaded automatically during synchronization, without the need for manual checkout. In the case of groups, the included objects are also downloaded.

Workarea Statistics in the Producer
For an improved overview of the learning objects and properties of a local workarea, the Producer now comes with workarea statistics You can call up the statistics using the menu Workarea -> Statistics. This gives you an overview of the number of objects by tree depth and language, of the number of projects and number of steps, and of the objects types, as well as general information about the object size, overall size of the workarea, and so on. You also have the option of displaying statistics for a selected subtree or for single projects. The workarea statistics quickly help you find large learning objects or let you compare different language variants.
Enhancement, Producer
Restructuring Server Interactions in the Producer
The interaction with knowledge objects in the Producer that are saved to the server, has been restructured and optimized to make authoring easier.
• The synchronization of knowledge objects in the Producer, as well as the synchronization modes recommended by the server, have been removed.
o You can now continue to work on a knowledge object in the Manager without network access by using the Keep Object for Offline Editing option. Afterwards, you can release the object again so that other authors can also work on it. For objects that were set to Edit and Own before the update to SAP Enable Now 1811, this option is applied automatically.
o Edit and Share is set as the default for all other server objects. This is also valid for read-only objects such as resources.
• The most common available operations for working with server objects are now easily attainable with the graphical button in the Object Editor.
• To keep the local workarea as synchronous as possible with the server, you can define automatic synchronization in the Producer settings under Producer > Server Workarea for these events: closing the Producer; switching to other workareas and switching to another central workarea.

Setting the Top Group in the Producer Automatically
To simplify the work of master authors when linking the local workarea in the Producer with the central workarea in the server, you have the option of downloading directly to the top group in the Producer.
Optimization, Producer
Export of User Lists
To improve the handling of user in Manager, you can export user lists of selected organization units or by selecting a creation type (Excel import, LDAP, SAML) from the user management under Administration > User. Exported lists can be used to mass change user data (name, creation of initial passwords, e-mail address, etc.) and changes can be imported, afterwards. Furthermore, user lists can be used for the migration of manual created users from Manager instance to Manager instance.

Anonymize Screen Area
To get better anonymization results, there are three presets you can select in the Anonymize Screen Area function. You can fill the selected area with the average fill color, the edge fill color, or a color you‘ve chosen yourself. This means selected screen areas can be removed by covering them with a color.

Placeholder Texts in Book Pages
Text-based book page objects, such as bubbles, text fields, or active areas use placeholders (“Enter text here.“) to inform authors that a text can be entered for an object. To optimize the creation of book pages, these placeholders do not have to be deleted (as in earlier versions) to be able to enter the required text.
Optimization, Producer, Manager
Book Page Navigation
For improved visibility, the navigation arrows for moving backwards and forwards in a book have been enlarged and modernized.

Replacing Page Key Attributes
To provide context-sensitive content for Desktop Assistant, it is sometimes necessary to neutralize dynamic values in the page keys of the relevant content. To make changing the page key easier and more efficient, the Replace Page Key Attribute dialog has been optimized. Page keys can now be processed with the help of simple presets, that cover all of the common application scenarios. If more complex changes with regular expressions need to be made, you can still change to an enhanced mode.

New Hotspot Variants
For some didactic approaches or UIs, it may be necessary to use different visual elements when depicting the context-based help. To better support this and to enable more flexibility, these new hotspot variants are now also available, in addition to the range with which you are already familiar
• Rectangle • Underscore • Icon
The “icon“ variant can be selected from a variety of icon types, to indicate What‘s New, changes, or additional learning materials. A number of predefined icon positions that enable you to place an icon within or outside of the relevant UI elements are also available. All hotspot variants offer additional options (such as offsets) that make exact positioning possible.
Enhancement, Web Assistant
Context Information for the Learning App
When recording process guides, the context and meta information required for context-sensitive provisioning in the Learning App is collected automatically for the SAP S/4HANA and SAP SuccessFactors applications. This means that the content is available to be published in the Learning App directly after creation - with no additional effort

Learning App Context Information for Additional Learning Objects
Context information and meta information for context-sensitive provisioning in the learning app for SAP S/4HANA und SAP SuccessFactors can now be recorded for learning objects such as book pages that are to be created without recording. To do so, you can use the new Record Web Assistant Context function that is available in the Project Explorer belonging to the object editor. You no longer have to add information manually. By rerecording objects, you can add additional contexts or delete existing ones.
Enhancement, Producer
Bubble Offset
To enable the exact positioning of bubbles in guided tours and context help, in addition to the orientation, you can also define an offset that lets you move the bubble horizontally or vertically.
Enhancement, Web Assistant
Deactivating Learning App Feedback
If you need to, you can deactivate the feedback function in the Learning App. Just add the parameter LAFeedback with the value false in the Web Assistant configuration of the relevant application (such as SAP S/4HANA). The related control element is no longer displayed to users.

SCORM Export Includes Linked Process Guides
To simplify the export of SCORM packages, only the process guide modes are taking into account during export. These are linked in the book, which makes them relevant. This means you no longer have to hide or delete individual modes prior to export. So you don‘t have to clone SCORM content in the knowledge structure anymore. Instead, they are mapped for redundancy-free storage.

Integration Scenarios
SAP Solution Manager Change Management
When resynchronizing the SAP Solution Manager process structure, an author can create a Producer filter that displays only those process objects that have been changed since the last synchronization. This means that an author has an ideal overview of the objects for which new content has to be created or existing content has to be changed.
New Feature, Producer
Supporting Non-Structured Elements
Additional information about process elements is often added, for example, additional documents, test cases, process variants, user roles, or diagrams. Since this information is helpful when creating content, it can be included when checking out the structure. A new group is created for the additional elements that are each mapped to a text unit.
New Feature, Producer
Supporting SAP Solution Manager Process Links
In SAP Solution Manager, process links represent references to other processes. Since this information can be of importance to SAP Enable Now authors when creating learning content, the process links are also included and represented when synchronizing the Producer. The subprocesses themselves are not synchronized so that the complexity of the structure in the Producer is kept to a minimum.

Optimizing SAP Solution Manager Synchronization
These areas have been optimized for smooth synchronization: • Significant improvement of performance when checking out objects. • A problem with saving links has been solved. • A checked-out structure is automatically uploaded to the Manager. • Synchronization without document type mapping is supported again. • Communication when deleting links in SAP Solution Manager has been optimized.
