Welcome

Dear partner,

It is our pleasure to invite you to the SAP Financial Services Summit for partners and SAP colleagues, May 6–8, 2013, in The Hague, The Netherlands.

In contrast to the summit held in 2012, which focused exclusively on banking, we are widening the program scope to financial services this year – covering the three main domains of banking, capital markets, and insurance.

Take advantage of a series of keynote and breakout sessions, successful enablement, best-practice sharing, networking, and industry thought leadership.

The agenda covers SAP’s corporate strategy as well as its strategy for the financial services industry, views from the outside, key success factors, and value drivers. It also offers solution-oriented presentations and customer successes that allow you to see solu-tions in action, exchange ideas, and get answers to your questions. You will also have the opportunity to network with colleagues and peers from across the global financial services community.

At SAP, we recognize the vital role our partners play in our ecosystem – a community of organizations and individuals focused on a com-mon goal: customer success. Together with you, our partners, we offer an outstanding, comprehensive, and consistent financial services approach that enables customers to accelerate innovation and improve ROI.

Who Should Attend? The SAP Financial Services Summit is an established global event designed for partners and SAP colleagues to engage in business networking and learn about the latest trends, strategies, and innovations for the financial services industry.

Last year, 600 SAP colleagues from more than 40 countries, together with 200 representatives from 50 partner companies, attended the 2012 summit. Attendees represented a wide range of areas that included sales and services, solution man-agement and development, active global support, ecosystem, marketing, communications, and operations.

In 2013, we have expanded the community from banking to include capital markets, insurance, and new teams, such as those from Ariba. In addition, we are welcoming new partners and increasing overall participation.

Participation of SAP colleagues is by invitation only. All nomi-nated SAP employees will receive an invitation from central event management containing a unique link for registration.

Partners may register online at www.delegate.com/sap/global /financialservices/summit/2013.

Why Should You Attend? The SAP Financial Services Summit offers an exclusive oppor-tunity for you to learn about the SAP corporate strategy for 2013, get insight into new programs and tactics to accelerate your business growth in 2013, meet your industry peers, and network with SAP executives.

It’s the one event where you can: • Get visionary updates directly from industry thought leaders, the SAP Global Financial Services leadership team, and speakers from leading financial services institutions, our clients

• Get a firsthand look at the latest trends in the financial services industry

• Discover banking and insurance solutions – from SAP and partners – that support best practices, benefit from in-memory computing, drive customer centricity, accelerate new business models, and, ultimately, support your growth strategies

• Present and learn from innovative, live banking and insurance demos in the Live Demo Theater

• Network with peers and leaders in your industry and get to know the global team

• Engage with SAP partners to discuss the latest technologies that support SAP® software

• Explore best practices and approaches from the financial services community

• Build relationships, generate new business opportunities, and strengthen the collaboration between you and your peers across all regions and lines of business

The SAP Financial Services Summit is SAP’s largest enablement and community meeting, where SAP colleagues and partners from across the world gather to gain and exchange information that will drive success in 2013.
