Heritage Foods India Limited
Heritage Foods (India) Ltd (commonly known as Heritage) is one of the largestprivate sectordairy
enterprises in SouthernIndia.The company has recently expanded intofood andgroceryretailing under
the brand "Heritage Fresh".
he Heritage Group, founded in 1992 byNara Chandrababu Naidu,with three-business divisions viz., Dairy,
Retail and Agri under its flagship Company Heritage Foods (India) Limited (HFIL), one infrastructure
subsidiary - Heritage Infra Developers Limited and other associate Companies viz., Heritage Finlease
Limited, Heritage International Limited and Heritage Agro Merine Private Limited. The annual turnover has
crossed $200 million USD during FY 2008'09[citation needed]
Presently Heritages milk products have market presence in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil
Nadu and Maharastra and its retail stores across Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad. Integrated agri
operations are in Chittoor and Medak Districts and these are backbone to retail operations.
In the year 1994, HFIL went to Public Issue to raise resources, which was oversubscribed 54 times and itsshares are listed under B1 Category on BSE (Stock Code: 519552) and NSE (Stock Code: HERITGFOOD)
Heritage Foods has its headquarters in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India.
SAP @ HeritageHeritage Foods (India) Ltd implemented SAP with Finance and Controlling , Project Systems, Sales and
Distribution, Materials Management, Plant Maintenance and Quality Management as their core functional
Modules. Hyderabad-based Heritage Foods India Private Limited (HFIPL) is planning to set up about 75
Fresh@ stores, its grocery retail chain, in Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore.
Goals and ObjectivesThe goal of this endeavor is to provide offshore resources capable of providing monitoring and problem
management support of the SAP systems of Heritage Foods (India) Ltd. Additionally it is to support the
Heritage Foods (India) Ltd systems.

Overview of SAP BW Landscape at Heritage FoodsAt Heritage Foods the following SAP BI Environment has been implemented:
SAP ECC 6.0 Ehp 4 has been installed with an ABAP stack only option.
SAP BW has been installed with an ABAP stack.
The Solution Manager is a Dual Stack with ABAP and JAVA stack option.

SAP BI Component Layout - ProductionThe production SAP environment comprises of the following software infrastructure components:
AIX 6
Oracle 10g
SAP BI with SAP Netweaver 7.01
HERITAGE FOODS SAP BI environment setup using a Three Tier Architecture model, where the SAP
Primary Application Server Instance for each component has been installed onto its own AIX Server and
the Database and Central Services Instance for each component is installed, with Oracle 10.2.0.4.0.
The presentation layer of SAP is available via the SAP GUI located on each users desktops (PC or
Laptop).
