BMPSAP000266 In SAP Host MP the Filesystem Percent Used performance counter value is reported incorrectly (as Percent Free).
BMPSAP000267 In SAP Host MP the Access Point objects with discovered Port 0 are checked for availability; port 0 is an invalid port and should not be considered for availability test.

SAPGUI Connection Testing with Synthetic Performance Monitoring
Synthetic Monitoring add-on now supports SAP GUI Logins simulation from multiple location. The login
functionality is utilizing SAP GUI Scripting and performs actual logins into the target system, reporting
login performance metrics captured by SAP GUI.
Prerequisites
SAP GUI 7.40 with Scripting is installed on the target machine
SAPGUI Scripting is enabled on SAP System and the users are authorized to execute scripts
Known symptoms
The error: The 'Sapgui Component' could not be instantiated typically indicates that no
connection to the SAP system can be established, verify the connection parameters
The error: No Active session found for the connection usually indicates that Scripting is not
enabled on SAP system
Configuration
In the Configuration Utility, SAP System details add an entry with Name as desired TCODE and Type as
SAPGUI Login. Specify desired Group, User and Password.
SAP Management Pack for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager
Release Notes 12
Specifying Name as NONE will result in no transaction being started upon successful logon
The Group parameter is only effective if SAP connection is configured to use Message Server
If User and Password are not specified the SAP Connector user/password are used.
Please be aware of the different requirements for user type and authorization for interactive
(SAP GUI) and RFC (SAP Connector) logins when reusing SAP Connection user account for
synthetic monitoring.
Changed in this release
Host Agent Run-As account support for fully qualified domain names
For Host Agent Management Pack Run-As accounts special characters are now supported to enable fully
qualified user names: Character ‘@’ is replaced internally with ‘\’ and ‘%’ with ‘/’. This enables the work
around SCOM limitation of simple-authentication Run As account name not allowing ‘\’ or ‘/’ characters.
In order to specify <domain>\<user> use <domain>@<user> notation.

utility.

BMPSAP000262 In the configuration Utility, SAP tab, clicking list Test icon on the newly added SAP system entry produces error.
BMPSAP000263 In the configuration Utility, SAP tab, Test icon is enabled for Host Control-only entries. When clicked produces error.
BMPSAP000264 In the configuration Utility, SAP Configuration details window, when Zero Configuration is checked, pressing Test button produces error: Connection to <SID> failed: Unable to cast object of type ‘System.Boolean’ to type ‘System.String’.

CCMS Alert Counters
The Management Pack introduces a new facility that allows for ad hoc CCMS Alert counters.

matching alert is detected for an SAP System a SCOM Object is created for the Counter:
SAP Management Pack for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager
Release Notes 23
The number of matching CCMS Alerts is calculated per interval (15-default, 30, 60 … minutes) and
reported as SCOM Performance Counter
The attached Monitor enables conditional alerting and state change. The alert count calculation is taking
place before the Alert Filters and Suppression are applied.
