WCM Process Flow

Operation & Maintenance depart will define the need for maintenance of an Equipment/FL.

Equipment/FL to be routed through safety requirements. Necessary permits and tagging sequence plan is created by O & M dep. and assigned in WCA & OWCD

Safety department will review the permits requirements and will decide the necessary safety requirements to be fulfilled for Equip/FL maintenance before issuing permit approvals.

Once all the necessary safety precautions are in place for the permits, Safety Officer will issue the TAG Permit (BTG) in WCA

O&M depart head will issue the TAG permit for OWCD.

Maintenance officer will perform Tagging in OWCD. Also, this Tag will be printed and the defined Tagging is performed physically at the Equip/FL.

O&M depart head will issue the TAGGED permit (ETG) for OWCD.

Safety Officer will check the Tagging condition of the Equip/FL and will issue the TAGGED permit (ETG) for WCA.

Maintenance order is released for Execution

Maintenance in charge/Officer will give approval for Un tagging in OWCD and Un-tagging is performed physically at Equip/FL

Maintenance order status is changed to Work completed (WOCO)

WCA & OWCD are closed & Maintenance order status is changed to TECO (Technical Completion)
