Saputara

Saputara is a small hill station located in Sahyadris or Western Ghats. Saputara town is part of Dangs district in Gujarat. It is a tourist destination. The range rises in eastern Gujarat state running east through the border of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh

to the east till Chhattisgarh.

Gira Waterfall is situated off the Saputara-Waghai road about 49kms from Saputara. The waterfall originating from Kapri tributary is at its best during the monsoon season. The water cascades from a height of 30m into the Ambika River offering a very picturesqueview. The best time to be here would be between June and November. Visitors can get refreshments from a small tea and snack stall. Picnic Huts make it an ideal spot for relaxing and picnicking.
