Dear Colleagues: This year’s annual meeting of the Academy of Prosthodontics is scheduled for April 25-April 29, 2017 in luxurious Sarasota, Florida. The shores of Florida’s Gulf of Mexico is an exceptional location for the Academy meeting, with its sugar-sand beaches, casual elegance and the city’s vast cultural wonders that offer an astounding range of captivating entertainments. The Academy traditionally holds its meetings in truly memorable locations. Over the past few years, we’ve met in Palm Springs, Wyoming, Hawaii, Switzerland, and Texas. exclusive oasis of beachfront services, the Golf Club featuring an 18-hole Tom Fazio-designed championship golf course, two lighted tennis courts and fitness center. Meeting registration will begin on Tuesday, April 25, followed by the Welcome Reception and Louis Blatterfein Dinner at the Ritz-Carlton Beach Club. There will be great music, entertainment, and a fabulous dinner to celebrate the start of the 2017 meeting. Our group dinner outing will take us to the Ringling Museum for a tour of the mansion and dinner at Marina Jacks. Several outings for spouses are also planned. Vice President, Dr. Kenneth Malament has put together an exceptional scientific program for 2017. The meeting will kick off with a contemporary look at prosthodontics, With an international array of renown speakers from the US and Europe: Drs. Steven Eckert, Christoph Hämmerle, Steven Campbell, Lyndon Cooper and Enrico Steger. The next day, we will feature a mix of our Academy’s Fellows from around the world. On Friday night, we will have our President’s Reception and Installation Banquet. The meeting will conclude on Saturday with several outstanding speakers from the Academy and beyond, including Drs. Don Curtis, Ichiro Nishimura, and Carlo Marinello. Our 2017 meeting will not only be memorable, but extraordinary. This is a “must attend” scientific program, and the optional events will be outstanding. Nobel Biocare Master Class Workshop 3D Digital Treatment Planning: New Innovations to Differentiate your Practice
Date & Time: Saturday, April 29th 2:00 – 5:00 PM
Achieve predictable results in less time for better patient outcomes through new 3D digital treatment planning technology that will also differentiate your practice. Learn how to link everything from patient diagnosis to implant planning, placement, and restoration design. Course participants will experience hands-on 3D treatment planning using NobelClinician Software to address a variety of challenging cases including real-life patient scenarios. Participants will virtually treat multiple cases to better understand digital 3D treatment planning as part of a larger digital workflow for increased efficiency. Additional highlights will include clinical considerations for guided surgery, strategies to improve treatment team collaboration and increase referrals, and how to deploy more effective consultation techniques to increase patient acceptance.
This course is appropriate for clinicians (and dental technicians accompanying a clinician) who would like to leverage the benefits of 3D digital treatment planning technology and guided surgery.
