Deuteronomy 17:19 He should keep it with him all the time. He should read from it every day of his life. Then he will learn to respect the Lord his God. And he will obey all the teachings and commands.




2 Kings 22:8 Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the royal assistant, “I’ve found the Book of the Teachings. It was in the Temple of the Lord.” He gave it to Shaphan, who read it.




2 Kings 22:11 The king heard the words of the Book of the Teachings. Then he tore his clothes to show how upset he was.

Psalm 1:2 He loves the Lord’s teachings. He thinks about those teachings day and night.




Psalm 77:11-12 I remember what the Lord did. I remember the miracles you did long ago. I think about all the things you did. I think about what you have done.

2 Timothy 3:15 You have known the Holy Scriptures since you were a child. The Scriptures are able to make you wise. And that wisdom leads to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:16 Let the teaching of Christ live in you richly. Use all wisdom to teach and strengthen each other. Sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
