Top three in each division will receive a medal. All pre-registered rollers receive a Midwest Log Rolling Championships T-Shirt. Amatuers and elites will also have a chance to improve their rankings or super series placement. And don’t forget, if you are the highest donating competitor, you’ll go home with an ipod nano or #2 Log Rolling Log! Elite Rollers will be competing for a total purse of $5,000 on lathe turned spike logs. What will we eat? Madison Log Rolling and Trader Joe’s will provide a BBQ with all of the meat, buns, and fixins'. Feel free to bring drinks and side dishes! Do I have to be a USLRA member to compete? Yes! Right now 1 in 10,000 Americans are at risk for this neurologic and terminal disease, which there is currently no effective treatment or cure. Money raised for HDSA-GL by the Midwest Log Rolling Championships will go directly to researching possible treatments and cures and family support and education in our area. HDSA's national and international research will also benefit people with diseases related to Huntington's – diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and many dystrophies. The individual who raises and/or donates the most money in addition to their entry fee will receive a log donated by Lumberjack Enterprises! The second highest fundraiser will win an ipod nano!
