SAVED YOUTH CHRISTMAS PARTY: December 24nd we will be meeting up at church 6pm sharp for caroling!. Afterwards, we will head over to Ulia Sysa’s house for a Christmas Party!

NEW YEAR PARTY: Will be held December 31st at our church.Ring in the New Year right here in Clearwater. We will have an excellent celebration full of fun, food and good memories. The price is $25 dollars plus EVERYONE must bring sweets!!! The person to buy tickets from is Marina Voy-tovich. After December $26 the price of the tickets goes up to $30.. So hurry;)

We are currently wrapping up the insightful We are currently wrapping up the insightful series, A Heart Ablaze by John Bevere. It was full of excellent advice on how to draw closer to God based on the intimate relationship that Moses shared with God. This month we are beginning a crisp, new series by Chip Ingrim from which we will get practical advice prioritizing various aspects of life.

The Bible study is always a night to look forward to. We fellowship around tea and scrumptious snacks, watch a lesson from the study, move on to a time of discussion, focusing on what we learned and answering questions. Then fellowship continues deep into the night for those who wish to stay.

Give us a try, you have nothing to lose and EVERYTHING to gain. Join us every Friday.

Jesus started a new chapter in history that is why our era is dated after his birth. Not only was he a historical figure, but more importantly he was the son of God who came to this earth so that he may be born in our hearts. Meditating on his birth I hear an inner voice saying “the best gift that you can offer me is your TIME.” During the holidays we often spend a great deal of time toiling to create a wonderful party, forgetting why and who it is all for. However, if we spend time with him we will indeed become historical figures and our lives will influence the lives of many around us. Let us create history together and as Christ obeyed his Father, let us obey Him.

Turning on the radio I hear Christmas melodies on every station and as I listen to their message I ask myself, “How would Jesus actually want his birthday to be celebrated?”

What does this holiday mean to you— a time of feasting and gifts, or the birthday of your savior?

Why does the whole world live for 2012 years (at this moment) from the birth of Christ?

Please consider these questions and share your answers with us.

In December during our youth service we will be speaking about the birth of Christ and the impact His birth has on our lives.

yesterday is gone a glance at november

Our evangelism night, The Source, was a definite success. Thank you to everyone who participated. Although we only had one non-church going guest, our chairs were filled to the brim with friends from neighbor-ing churches. It was a great way for everyone to unite and worship God together. After worship we enjoyed a scrumptious feast prepared by our ladies, mingled and then headed to Clearwater Beach for coffee and a walk on the beach. Alex would like to do another evangelism night after the holidays so please pray, prepare and think about who you will invite.

the thanksgiving youth conferenceThe youth conference was held in North Port with Sac-ramento’s Andrey Shapoval as the keynote speaker. His messages focused on walking with God and setting your life apart. He ended with a sermon on David and Goliath.

Thanks to our worship band, Saturday evening worship sounded PHENOMENAL. The conference ended with tea and a large bon fire and was altogether an excellent weekend.

Do you remember THE SHAPOVAL CHALLENGE? Write the Jeremiah 3:33 verse on a large poster board, choose a convenient prayer time and include it on the board then hang it directly in front of your bed so it is the first thing you see when you open your eyes each morning and devote yourself to a 10 minute prayer at your chosen time. TRY IT and tell us all about it.
