Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) viewerThe Starkstrom Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) viewer has been specifically designed for the clinical environment. Its design and construction is based upon our extensive experience and knowledge gained from designing, manufacturing and supplying a broad range of products specifically for operating rooms and other high care areas. The PACS viewers are flush mounted, with wipe clean membrane keyboards and trackpads, which minimises the risk of infection and reduces clutter in the operating room.

Monitors

All monitors are professional grade units. The monitors are available in sizes of 24, 27, 30, 40 and 46inch, giving a large range of resolutions, aspect ratios and visible areas to satisfy all clinical workplace requirements.

Configurations

Each variation is available with either front or rear access. Monitors can be oriented in a single or twin screen configuration. Single configurations have landscape oriented monitors, while twin configurations may have portrait or landscape oriented monitors.

Keyboard and Trackpad

PACS viewers can be specified with or without a keyboard and trackpad. If required, the PACS viewer is fitted with an 88 key recessed and angled IP66 keypad with associated trackpad. The keypad is resistant to chemicals and abrasion and is easy to keep clean and free from dirt and infectious material. Where user input is not required, or when the PACS is being used in conjunction with another PACS viewer which does not have a keyboard and trackpad supplied, then the keypad and trackpad is omitted.

The following features can be added to your chosen PACS viewer during design and manufacture:
