DTS allows SBP claims (e.g. SBP-compliant, SBP-controlled) to be

transmitted along the supply chain.

Biomass Producer sells biomass. Makes claim in the DTS, passes on energy and GHG data

Trader buys the biomass, receives information via DTS. Sells the biomass, passes on the same information via DTS

Generator buys the biomass. Receives transaction infor-mation through the DTS. Supply-chain is known, energy and GHG data is clearly associated with the biomass.


- Mandatory since 1 October 2016

- More than 2000 transactions recorded

- Free for all users

Will be replaced with DTS 1.0 from 1st of September 2017

• 1st of September – Full transition from DTS v0.5 to v1.0. • DTS 0.5 is shut down & DTS 1.0 made mandatory• Final DTS 0.5 summary reports sent to all CH-s

Timeline for transition


- Companies are invited to enter the system and test main functionalities for smooth transition

- All transactions created in the system before 1st of September will be deleted

- Business relationships between companies will stay in the system

DTS v1.0 during July-August


- Automated e-mail from the DTS system on 1st of July or after issuance of SBP certificate

Once access is granted, users are asked to review and update company profile:

– Company name and description

– Contact details

– Certification information(review only)

Overview of company DTS users

Each company can add many internal DTS users from the Administration


In order to make claims, you have to establish a business relationship within DTS. Business Relationships form a supply chain.

Three different types of Business Relationships:

- Supplier relationship

- Client relationship

- Supervisory relationship (SBP, CB)

SBP has supervisory relationship with all SBP-certified organisations by default

Certification Bodies will have supervisory relationship by default with their clients only

Adding new Business Relationship

- Search by company name or SBP certificate number

- Add custom invitation text

- Define Relationship type


Overview of all open invitations appear on the homepage. System also sendsout an automatic invitation email.

Business Relationships can be accepted, rejected or withdrawn, company records and historic data cannot be deleted. Open BR invitations expiry in 28 days

- Clicking on My Business Relationships shows an overview all companies you are connected with

- Clicking on the company name reveals more details

SBP will upload all SBP-Approved SAR/Static Biomass profiling Data to the Company record in the DTS.

Documents will be available for all connected suppliers/customers.

SREG will be uploaded by companies to the Transaction record.

To start creating a new Transaction, hover your cursor to My Transactions and click on Add new transaction button.

Sharing transaction

- Transaction can be sent to any of your business relationships

- Transaction can only be shared once

- Both supplier and customer relationships are displayed

- Invoice specific data to be entered in a pop-up window.

A single transaction might not be linked to a single invoice. An invoice can include several transactions.
