running order We give each dog a run ticket for each event. You MUST present your
run ticket at the field gate in order to run.
Rolling Roll Call begins at 8:00 each day for the MORNING events and 12:00 each day for the AFTERNOON events. *MONDAY – LAST DOG ON COURSE AT 1:00

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY - Please read carefully ALL DOGS RUN AT OWNERS SOLE RISK
NOTICE TO ALL EXHIBITORS
All entries must be one year of age or older on the day of the test.
• Each dog requires an individual entry form for each event in which it is entered. Or enter online (EASIER!!)
• Entries will not be accepted without fees, signatures, or the “Agreement” found on the Official AKC Entry Form.
• Bitches in season and lame dogs will be refused entry and, if presented at inspection, will be refunded entry fees.
• Mixed breeds must be spayed or neutered to be eligible to run. AKC registered dogs with breed disqualifications may be entered.
• Coursing is an athletic activity that can tax a dog’s physical strength.
• Dogs that are overweight and/or out of condition may be at greater risk for injury and exhaustion. The Inspection Committee has the authority to disallow a dog’s entry into a test, and in such instances, applicable entry fees will be
refunded.
• Battery powered, continuous loop lure machines will be used. The lure will consist of white plastic strips. Backup equipment will be available.
• Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian’s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of parasites, any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations.
• The Huntmaster is responsible for field safety and therefore he/she is in complete charge of all dogs and handlers on the field. In service to this responsibility, he/she has the authority to stop the lure in any
potentially dangerous situation and signal the handler to retrieve a testing dog.
• Any decisions made by the event’s officiating judge(s) regarding the performance of an entered dog shall be final. Full discretionary power is given to the judge(s) to withhold any and all qualifications for lack of merit. The Judge(s) is responsible for ensuring compliance with the AKC Regulations on the field.
• No entry fees will be refunded if the event cannot be started or completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or its members and representatives.
• Persons exhibiting conduct detrimental to AKC/GANG/any dog(s)/other person(s) will be asked to leave the trial site.
• The event-hosting club, its agents, members, representatives, volunteers, GNF etc., assume no liability or responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children or spectators before, during, or after this event
• There will be portable restroom facilities located near the field. Bring your own shade. No littering.
PLEASE clean up any cigarette butts/trash you leave on the ground.
• All rights to televise, videotape, advertise, photograph, promote or otherwise exploit this event are vested in the club, or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made in writing by the club. All persons and animals attending these shows grant the club the right to use their likeness and voice in any matter without further consent.
• A penalty of $5.00 will be assessed for any and each loose dog(s) not competing in the course in progress.
• A return check fee of $35.00 will be assessed for any check(s) returned for insufficient funds.

DISTANCES BETWEEN THE BUILDING CAN BE TIRING FOR HUMAN
AND BEAST – YOU MIGHT WANT TO CONSIDER RENTING A GOLF
CART.

FIELD The field has a little shade and will be fenced with chain link and plastic mesh temporary fencing.
Please bring your own shade and water.
Battery powered, continuous loop lure machines will be used. The lure will consist of plastic strips. Only the Lure Operator, Huntmaster, Judges and Handlers of the hounds running in the course in progress will be permitted near the lure machine. The m embers of the Greyhound Association of North Georgia reserve the right to alter the course plan as required by weather and/or field conditions on the day of the trial.
Course will be reversed for second test
PRACTICE W ill be held AFTER the two Tests on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, if weather, equipm ent and daylight permit.
Practice is $5 per dog. All dogs are welcom e but priority will be given to sighthound breeds

PERRY AREA HOTELS/MOTELS
In order to get special rates, you must call the motel direct & inform them you
are with the dog shows. All exhibitors read the regulations on hotel/motel
accommodations.
NOTICE TO DOG OWNERS/EXHIBITORS
WHEN YOU SIGN THE ENTRY FORM, YOU AUTOMATICALLY AGREE
TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS CONCERNING MOTELS EXTENDING
THEIR PLACE TO YOU.
THE FOLLOWING RULES HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED FOR THE GOOD
OF ALL EXHIBITORS CONCERNED.
1. Plasc sheeng is to be placed under every crate in motel rooms. This will keep
carpets clean & dry. Plasc sheeng for each crate will be the responsibility of
each exhibitor to provide HIS/HER own.
2. Dogs must be crated when owner is out of the room. NO EXCEPTIONS.
3. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all mes while in the hotel, lobbies or on hotel
grounds. Rooms & lobby must be kept clean of dog debris.
4. Dogs should be “exercised” in designated areas on motel premises. Every dog
owner is expected to pick up after his own dog & dispose of waste in designated
trash cans. It is the responsibility of the dog owner to find out from the innkeeper
where these areas & cans are located.
5. Due to the severe clogging problems with the drain pipes, no dog may be
bathed in the hotel. Crang & bathing facilies with hot & cold water are available
at the show site.
6. Rooms will be inspected daily by members of the hotel staff & observed viola
ons or damages will be reported to the hotel management and/or the
investigative committee.
7. The investigative committee, working with a fair & equitable system,
is charged with investigating complaints.
8. Each dog owner/registrant is expected to cooperate with the
investigave committee, hopefully settling damage claims on the
spot, or else must be willing to
furnish information such as insurance policy numbers & other pertinent
information as required/requested.
9. Should a hotel/motel, for cause, deem it necessary to cancel room
privileges, the registrant agrees to forego legal actions against
CLUSTER CLUBS & the hotel/motel.
10. As an exhibitor, I am aware that violaons may be referred to the
Show Committee
if written charges are preferred. If such charges are upheld by the Show
Committee,it may lead to suspension from future show privileges.
11. Motel/hotels have the right to charge a deposit (refundable or non‐
refundable).
