How to enter 1. Form a team of seven (7) players. 2. Each player should have either downloaded or should ensure they download the SC Mobile
Botswana App from the Google Playstore or Apple App Store. 3. Each player must already have or must open either a Current or Savings Account through
the SC Mobile Botswana App. 4. Each player must fund their account with a minimum of BWP 100. 5. Team captain/representative must complete the entry form and submit by email to
[email protected]. 6. The Bank will verify your team’s submission. When all is confirmed as correct, your team
will be notified if your team has been entered into the draw. Only successful teams will be contacted by the Bank.
7. Submission of entries closes on Monday, 2 March 2020. 8. The draw for teams to participate will take place on Wednesday, 4 March 2020. 9. Winning teams will be notified on Friday 6 March 2020. 10. All teams that qualify will be bound by the competition terms and conditions.

1. The competition will run until Monday, 2 March 2020. 2. The competition is only open to Bank customers that have opened either a
Current or Savings account through the Digital Bank on Mobile (DBOM) and successfully funded the account with a minimum of BWP 100 since 25 June 2019.
3. The immediate family of Standard Chartered Bank Employees and Agents are not eligible to enter.
4. For purposes of this competition, immediate family will be defined to include a person’s spouse and children. The Bank may also deem other persons connected to a person by birth, adoption, marriage etc to fall within the scope of this definition. This will apply as far as the nature of the relationship is known to the Bank.
5. By participating in this competition, each participant agrees to hold Standard Chartered Bank free from all losses, damages, rights, claims, liabilities and actions of any kind in connection with this competition or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, property damage and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.
6. Winners may be required to participate in publicity events, no payments will be made to the individual(s) participating in such publicity events.
7. To qualify for the draw, customers should either already have or should have to download the SC Mobile Botswana App and successfully open an account on their mobile, and then fund that account with a minimum of BWP 100. This will qualify the customer for one entry to the draw.
8. The prize to be won will be as follows:

9. The prize cannot be transferred to cash. 10. Winners will be contacted directly by the Digital Banking Team. 11. Winners will be drawn in the presence of three (3) Bank officials.12. Should a winner not be able to redeem their prize, they will forfeit their spot in the
tournament and another team will be drawn to replace them. 13. Competition valid until Monday, 2 March 2020.14. The Bank reserves the right to vary the terms and conditions without prior notice.

SC Trophy 2020 – Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is the competition only open to men? The SC Trophy is open to all genders of people, teams can be a mixture of
men and women provided all players are 18 years of age or older. 2. Why do I need a team of 7 for 5-aside? The team of 7 consists of 5 players plus 2 substitutes. 3. Can I change team members after submitting my team to the Bank? Only the team members submitted will be permitted to participate in the 2020
SC Trophy. 4. Can professional players be part of the team? The SC Trophy is only open to amateur players. A professional is defined as
anyone who has received payment for playing football in the past 5 years. 5. What if I am already a Standard Chartered account holder, can I enter? Great! However you are still required to open an additional account – either
current or savings account through the SC Mobile Botswana App. 6. I opened an account through the SC Mobile Botswana App in 2019, can I enter? All customer that have opened accounts through the SC Mobile Botswana
App since launch are eligible to form a team. 7. What do I need to open an account? All you need are 3 documents. 1) Valid Id (Omang for citizens and Passport for
Non-Citizens) 2) Proof of Residence 3) Proof of Income. 8. How long does it take to open my account? If you have all your documents ready, you can open an account in 15 minutes
and your debit card will be delivered to you in 48hrs. 9. Cant I just open an account at the nearest branch? To qualify for this tournament you must open an account through the SC
Mobile Botswana App. 10. How can I fund my account? Electronic transfer from another Bank or over-the-counter deposit at any
Standard Chartered branch. 11. Can I fund my account with more than P100? Yes. 12. How do I know if you have received my team submission? The Bank will acknowledge all submission when received. 13. Will you tell me if there are any mistakes on the team submission? The Bank will contact you if we require any clarification of the details you have
submitted. 14. How will you contact the lucky draw winners? Luck draw winners will be contacted by email. 15. What happens after my team is drawn? The Bank will contact your team captain about the next steps for your
participation in the SC Trophy.
