A96 Dualling East of Huntly to Aberdeen scheme Engineering layout plan Scale 1 : 10000 Engineering layout plan This engineering layout plan shows the developing design of the remaining options. The six coloured sections combine to form eight end-to-end route options that will be taken through the full DMRB Stage 2 Assessment. This plan shows potential cuttings and embankments required to provide a route option that crosses features such as rivers and the Aberdeen to Inverness Railway Line. It also illustrates how existing local authority roads and private accesses are accommodated where they are affected by the proposed dual carriageway. The new A96 dual carriageway options, junctions, side roads, access roads and drainage features may be subject to design development. Detailed proposals for connections to private accesses and Non-Motorised User (NMU) provision will be developed as the scheme progresses. EAST OF HUNTLY TO ABERDEEN

A96 Dualling East of Huntly to Aberdeen scheme

Engineering layout planScale 1 : 10000

Engineering layout planThis engineering layout plan shows the developing design of the remaining options.
