DEPARTMENT OF PHILOSOPHY
A departmental meeting has been conducted on 23/06/2017 along with all professors. Following subjects has been discussed in the meeting:
1. To prepare departmental and individual Academic time table of Academic year 2017-18. 2. Workload distribution:
Prepare departmental and individual time table of the department. There are total workloads of 56 hours of all professors, so the workload distribution will be as follows: a. Dr. Shailaja Khorgade 14 hrs b. Miss Reena Bawankule 16 hrs c. Dr. Sumeru Gondane 16 hrs d. Dr. Jayshing Sawant 10 hrs

DEPARTMENT OF PHILOSOPHY
A meeting of all Head of the Departments has been held under the Chairmanship of Director of the Institute on 05/07/2017 at Internet Lab. In the meeting various points has been discussed like admission Post Graduates (MA), workload distribution and student’s strength should be enhance for special subjects, etc.
As per the direction of Hon’ble Director, a departmental meeting has been conducted on 05/07/2017, whereas discussion done of above said topics and prepared departmental time talbe as well as it is decided to visit various colleges for increasing the student’s strength of the department.
Following professors are presented to the meeting:

August 2017:
1. Museum Visit to the Central Museum, Nagpur for the students of BA part I
2. Heritage walk of Colonial Architecture for the student for BA (From Zero mile –Central Museum-Akashwani-GPO-Old High Court Building-Vidhan Bhawan-RBI)
September 2017:
1. Inauguration of Study Circle by Dr. Preeti Trivedi, HOD, Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology, RTM, Nagpur University.
2. Anthropological Museum Visit for the student of BA II at Seminary Hills (based on syllabus)
October 2017:
1. Arrange Guest lecture of Dr. Priyadarshi Khobragade, Assistant Professor, Dept of AIHC and Archaeology, RTM, Nagpur University.
2. Guest Lecture of Dr. Ismail Kellellu, Retd. Reader of AIHC and Archeology Department, RTM, Nagpur University.
November 2017:
3. Organized Workshop on Brahmi Lipi (आओ ब्राह्मी लिपी लिखे)
4. Guest Lecture of Dr. Prabhas Sahoo, Associate Professor, RTM, Nagpur University, Nagpur at Field to the archaeological site (Megalithic Circle) at Ubali, Nagpur
December 2017:
1. Guest Lecture of Dr. Izhar Alam Hashmi, Deputy Superintending Archaeologist, Archaeological Survey of India, Nagpur Circle.
2. Organized Exhibition on excavation and exploration sites of Vidarbha.
January 2018:
1. Study Tour to the Archeological sites at Pauni (Stupa Site)
February 2018:
