Schaeffler Industrial Services Introduction to the SIS Training Program When it comes to bearings, Schaeffler, together with our INA and FAG brands, has always been at the forefront of techno- logical innovation. Industry firsts, such as the development of the needle roller & cage assembly or the groundbreaking ball-grinding machine that is regarded as the foundation of the entire rolling bearing industry, have earned Schaeffler a unique distinction among the world’s great bearing companies. Schaeffler Industrial Services (SIS) offers a comprehensive lineup of training courses to ensure that our customers get the best performance and longest life out of their rolling bearings and plain bearings. Taught by certified Schaeffler experts, these training courses range in scope from bearing basics to the principles of properly mounting & dismounting bearings to lubrication fundamentals and condition moni- toring. When appropriate, class size is limited to a handful of participants to guarantee that students get as much time as possible to engage in “hands-on” practice with the bear- ings and tools. Benefits of SIS Training Courses • Reduces machinery downtime for greater productivity • Ensures bearings are properly mounted/dismounted • Increases bearing operating life • Gives your employees a better understanding of bearing options (e.g., split bearings that can substantially reduce installation time) Schaeffler Industrial Services Overview of Training Courses Canada Schaeffler Canada Inc. 2871 Plymouth Drive Oakville, ON L6H 5S5 Tel: 905-829-2750 www.schaeffler.ca USA Schaeffler Group USA Inc. 308 Springhill Farm Rd Ft Mill, SC 29708 Tel: 803-835-5845 Fax: 803-835-5820 www.schaeffler.us
