Schedule for the sealed quotations

Sealed quotations are invited from the nurserymen / individual plant growers for supply of seedlings mentioned in this schedule

for A.P. Greening & Beautification Corporation, Vijayawada.

Terms & conditions:

1. The agencies shall fill the relevant columns in the table below duly mentioning the quantity of the species available with them, with specifications such as size of the bag, height and rate offered; and submit the same on or before 4:00 pm on 25-10-2018, in sealed covers, at office of the Manging Director, A.P. Greening and Beautification Corporation, plot no.30, road no.4, sector no.4, lotus land mark, kedhareswar peta, Vijayawada, 520003. (The filled in quotations sent by fax / e-mail will not be accepted). The agencies may send the quotations through post / courier, but the quotations received by post / courier after the due date will not be accepted. The covers will be opened on the same day by the Managing Director and the rates quoted will be recorded.

2. This tender is called mainly for procuring Cacti, Succulents and other Ornamental varieties of various species to be used in the parks of Urban Local Bodies (ULBs). Hence the APG&BC authorities will be at liberty to place order to any agency having the seedlings with the specifications mentioned in this schedule, basing on the rates fixed through the tender including the lowest quoted agency

3. The proprietor or the authorised signatory shall sign on each page of this schedule on the bottom left side.

4. The agency shall fill all the details under the heading “particulars of the agency” and also sign the certificate given in the end of the schedule.

5. The agencies quoting for the supply of plants shall attach colour photograph for each species.

6. The seedlings have to be delivered at the at Central Nursery, Simhachalam Visakhapatnam Dist.,

7. The rate quoted by the agencies shall include transportation, handling, loading, unloading, taxes and other charges, if any.

8. The quantity of seedlings mentioned is tentative and it may be increased or decreased basing on the actual requirement.

9. The agencies may quote for any species or any quantity as per the actual availability of seedlings with them.

10. If the agency has many varieties of the required species, they can quote for each variety separately in the additional space given in the schedule.

11. The plants must have been grown in poly bag/plastic pot. The size of the bag/pot shall be recorded in the relevant column of the sealed quotation for each species.

12. Selection of the agencies will be done based on the lowest quote among the agencies who meet the required specifications given in the table below. In case of deviation in specifications viz., lesser height, lesser bag size, the rate quoted will not be considered. However, the agencies may mention lesser or more quantity of the seedlings as per the actual availability. If the agencies have taller plants than specified, they can mention the same.

13. Supply order for the plants will be placed to the selected agencies basing on the requirement, any time within two (2) months after the finalisation of the quotes.

14. After finalisation of the agencies, each agency has to execute an agreement with APG&BC on Rs.100/- non-judicial stamp paper.

15. The decision of the Managing Director in selection of the agency and placing the work order is final and no further correspondence in the matter will be entertained.

16. Only the conditioned with sturdy stem, good and healthy crowned with vigorously growing tip will be accepted.

17. No agency shall have right to demand supply order on participation in this tender process. The decision of placing supply orders to various agencies lies with the Managing Director as per the actual requirement.
