She also directs the Religious Education PhD program and coordinates the discipleship and children’s ministries emphases in the masters program. She is passionate about education for God’s Kingdom. She is also a proud mom and grandmom. Dynamic Stewards Larry Evans holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Andrews University. His emphasis was church growth and church planting. He has served as pastor, associate ministerial director, church consultant, director of multicultural ministries and various administrative posts including conference secretary, conference president, assistant to the division president and General Conference Undersecretary. He now serves as Associate Stewardship Director of the General Conference and the General Conference Liaison for International Deaf Ministries. Larry is married to Carolyn (Big- ger) Evans.They have two sons and five grandchildren. Dr. Pardon Mwansa is an ordained minister and holds a Doctoral degree in Missiology from Andrews University. In almost 38 years of church service, he has served as a Literature Evangelist; District Pastor; Departmental Director at the Conference, Union and GC levels; President of Zambia Union, Eastern African Division, and Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division; Speaker and producer of the “Wait a Minute Pastor” program on Hope TV; and currently serves as a General Vice President at the General Conference and chairs related boards. He was born Zambia, and is married to Judith. They have four grown children Elder Erika Puni started ministry in 1980 in the South Pacific Division pastoring, and holding church administrative positions in American Samoa and then North New Zea- land. He was a theology professor at Avondale College, Australia, and Director of Stewardship Ministries for the SPD. He was elected Direc- tor of Stewardship Ministries for the GC in 2005, and was re-elected in 2010. He holds a PhD from Fuller Theological Seminary. Puni is com- mitted to the making of disciples/ stewards, and is passionate about stewardship education. Puni and his wife Maxine (accountant and former auditor with the GC Auditing Services) have two young children: Janae-Grace (7), and Jaydon (4). PASTOR JAMES DANIEL was born on the Caribbean island of Antigua and grew up in a Seventh- day Adventist family. He served in the East Caribbean Confer- ence as Pastor, Departmental Director, Executive Secretary, and President. He served the Caribbean Union Conference as director of the departments of Stewardship and Communication, and Coordinator for Territorial Adjustment. Presently, he serves as General Field Secretary and Associate Director of Stewardship Ministries of the Inter-American Division. He holds a B.Th degree; an MA in Church Administration; and a PhD in Education. He and his wife, Margaret, are the parents of two young adult sons. Dr. Israel Leito is a native of Curacao. He has accumulated many years of service to the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Inter-American Division terri- tory. His many decades of service in leadership have enabled him to gain a wealth of experience as he served the organization from the local church level to the General Conference spanning numerous departments. As Division Presi- dent, he provides administrative leadership to a diverse territory of twenty-two (22) Unions, approxi- mately 120 local fields, numerous institutions and approximately 3.8 million members. Pastor Leito is married to Ludmilia and they have a daughter, a son, and daughter- in-law, and three grand children.

Pastor Dave currently serves as Director of the Stewardship and Worship Departments of the Ontario Conference in Canada. He is passionate about sharing the joy of Kingdom-life for the stewards of God, as a lifestyle of Worship. He has earned a Doctor of Ministry degree in the area of Worship renewal. Pastor Dave uses music and the spoken Word to lead individuals to experience a deep awareness of God’s presence. He currently resides in Oshawa with his wife Ingrid, daughter Albany, and son Justin.

Delbert Pearman serves as Planning Director for the Office of Adventist Mission at the General Conference, overseeing Global Mission financing initiatives. Delbert is an ordained minister of the Gospel and a member of the Institute of Management Accountants (International) and holds an an MBA. Over 28 years has served the church administration as accountant, Secretary /Treasurer and Treasurer in various places in the world field. Delbert is from Bermuda and is married to Curdell. They have two daughters, a son-in-law, and grandson.

God doesn’t call us all to do remarkable things, but He calls us to be good stewards of what He has given us. I had a cuddly black puppy, a camera, and some rhymes that helped me produce a series of books for children on Stewardship principles. You’ll find me busily and happily engaged in my occupation as a cardiology nurse practitioner but knit closely to the church I love as a preacher’s kid, pastor’s wife and mother of a pastor’s wife who gave me three precious grandchildren.

Dr. Davidson is a daughter of missionary parents and a fourth generation Seventh-day Adventist. Formerly a home schooling mom and music instructor, Jo Ann now teaches in the Andrews University Theological Seminary–the first woman to teach in the Theology department. She earned her Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield, IL) in 2000. She has authored the books Jonah: The Inside Story, Toward a Theology of Beauty: A Biblical Perspective, and Glimpses of Our God, and has many published articles.

Ted N.C. Wilson was elected as president of the Seventh-day Ad-ventist world church in July 2010 during the General Conference Session in Atlanta. Pastor Wilson began his church career as a pastor in 1974 in the Greater New York Conference and has served the church in leadership capacities both at home and abroad. He mar-ried Nancy Louise Vollmer Wilson, a physical therapist, in 1975. The couple has three married daughters and eight grandchil-dren. An ordained minister, Pastor Wilson holds a doctoral degree in religious education, a master of divinity degree, and a master of science degree in public health.

Elder Niño started ministry in 1966 pastoring churches in West Venezuela Conference where he also served as stewardship director for two years at conference level, fourteen years at Union level and eighteen year at the Division level. He was also Vice-president for Academic Affairs and Union Secretary. At the GC Session in Atlanta in 2010, Elder Niño had been stewardship director for thirty-four years. He has been involved in international ministry through theological education, including Brazil, Spain, South Africa, Nigeria, Angola, Italy, Philippines, Indonesia, Korea, Colombia, Peru and United States.

Dr. Filiberto Verduzco holds a civil engineering degree from Univer-sidad de Sonoma Mexico and a Masters in Administration from Instituto Tecnológico de Sonoma. Montemorelos University con-ferred a Doctorate in Finance Ho-noris Causa degree on him for his remarkable contribution. He has served as a civil engineer at Mon-temorelos University, University Vice- President for Finance and Development, President of the Health Food Company of the IAD, and since 2000, as Treasurer of the IAD. In 2001, Dr. Verduzco was ordained to the gospel min-istry. Dr. Verduzco is married to Alma Yanes.They have two adult sons and five grandchildren.

Pastor Javier Mejía Mejía was born in the city of La Ceiba, Honduras, on August 6, 1961 He is married to Maria Rivas. They are parents of two children: Javier Josué and Luis Daniel. He holds a Doctor of Ministry, and currently serves as Director of the Depart-ment of Stewardship Ministries at the Inter-American Division. He is the author of several books, including: I honor those who honor me, Strategic Plan for stewardship of the local church, the power of habit, personalized attention. Their mission: to ensure that every disciple of Jesus makes of the administration of the possessions of the Kingdom a passion.

Daniel R. Jackson, was elected as president of the North American Division of Seventh-day Adven-tists, in June 28, 2010. Jackson is a native Canadian and, with the exception of five years of service in the Southern Asia Division, has lived and ministered in Canada. He is a graduate of Canadian Union College (now Canadian University College) and Andrews University, from which he holds an M.A. in Religion in Systematic Theology. During his career, Dan has served the church as a pastor, teacher and administrator. Dan and Donna enjoy the three children and four grandchildren the Lord has given them.

Dr. Benjamin Schoun is a gener-al vice president of the General Conference of Seventh-day Ad-ventists. He advises the Stew-ardship, Communication, and Education Departments. The media including radio, television, and Internet is also part of his re-sponsibility. Prior to this appoint-ment he was the president of Adventist World Radio. He has been the president of the Atlantic Union Conference and the North-ern New England Conference in the USA. He spent 13 years at the Seventh-day Adventist Theo-logical Seminary, Andrews Uni-versity, as a professor, program director, and associate dean.

Wilfredo L. Sumagaysay, Associate Director of the Planned Giving & Trust Services Department of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, is a pastor and a lawyer. He prefers to be called “Pastor Willy” or “Pastor Will” as a reminder of his job which includes encouraging those who love Jesus Christ to write a Will in which God’s cause is also remembered as their estate is finally distributed. He travels the world to inform and inspire church leaders and members concerning “faithful stewardship of possessions” by having an up-to-date estate plan intended to benefit and support the gospel work.

John Mathews is an ordained minister who loves music. He has served in several US states and conducted family finance seminars as a departmental di-rector in the Kansas-Nebraska Conference and the South-western Union Conference.John holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Andrews University. He maintains several stewardship-related certifications. His passion is teaching stewardship principles, especially as they relate to the spirituality of money management in postmodern culture.John is married to Jan-ice Schram Mathews.
