The other 10 units may be fulfilled with sports participation.[2] CSU/UC math requirements: 3 years including Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II.[3] Refer to Course Catalog for Berean graduation requirements and CSU/UC admission requirements.[4] One year of an elective chosen from any area on approved “a-f” course list (which can be found in BCHS Course Catalog).[5] ACT has an optional writing section which is required by the UCs.

Berean requires 20 units of Math
Algebra I A1 CSU/UC require 3 years of math (1st half of Algebra I)2 (completion of Algebra II) and recommend 4 years (Pre-calculus).
1 Formerly student would have taken Math Intro before Algebra I. With this system, students take two years of Algebra I (A and B) and may move on to Geometry. 2 Algebra I A and Algebra I B will meet only one year of the CSU/UC Math admission requirement.
