The Hoffman Center includes the Education

center, Bookstore, Offices, and is the location

for most programs run at the Sanctuary. It is

located in the driveway loop shown on the map.

From Route 287: take exit 30B (Bernardsville)

Bear right onto N. Maple Ave. Go through

traffic light at Route 202/Morristown Rd.; af-

ter light N. Maple Ave. becomes Childs Rd.

After a short distance, bear right at the fork

onto Hardscrabble Rd. The driveway is ap-

prox. 1 m

ile down Hardscrabble Rd. on the

right.

From the Chester area (Route 24): take Rt.

24 east through Mendham. W

atch for the

New Jersey Audubon sign at Tempe W

ick Rd.

Turn right onto Tempe W

ick Rd. Continue for

approx. 2 m

iles. Turn right opposite the pond

onto Leddell Rd. At the next stop sign turn

left onto Hardscrabble Rd. The driveway is ap-

proximately 1 1/4 m

ile ahead on the left.

At times when the Hoffman Center is

closed, trails m

ay be accessed from the

an Parking Lot located about 1/4 west

of the driveway on Hardscrabble Rd.
