Local Scholarship Instructions

Please follow these suggestions when applying for the local scholarships:

Make 10-18 original sets of each of the following and use this order when putting each packet together. Sample packets can be found in the GO Center.

Page 1 Cover page

Page 2 Completed local scholarship application (type it out). Page 3 350-500 word essay answering the following questions:

What are your goals and aspirations?

Describe your family and how they have influenced you.

State any special personal or family circumstances affecting your need for financial assistance.

Page 4 Resume (current) Page 5 Copy of ACT or SAT score report Page 6 Two letters of recommendations (Preferred: 1 English Teacher and Other) Page 7 Copy of your current academic senior schedule and 1st Semester Report Card

Make 10-18 copies of the completed application with all forms so that GO Center can have a set for each local scholarship that we will send out to Donors.

Place each set in a report cover and turn in to Go Center by: February 17, 2019.

The listing of local scholarships continues to grow as commitment letters are received from our local business community! Please continue to visit the GO Center for an updated listing and to pick up additional donor application forms.
