students with a 20% reduction in

tuition fees for the duration of their

studies. This academic based scholarship

is only for new enrolments and is

available for both undergraduate

and postgraduate coursework study

in Rockhampton, Gold Coast and

Sydney*. Please note some terms and

conditions apply.

Scholarship SelectionCriteriaThe CQUniversity Vice-Chancellor’s

Scholarship is open to all students

applying for a CQUniversity bachelor

degree and commencing in March, July

or November term at CQUniversity.

Entry to the Vice-Chancellor’s

Scholarship is based on the applicant’s

previous academic results. To be

awarded a scholarship the applicant

must meet the minimum selection

criteria as listed below.

Scholarship OerIf successful in being offered a

Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship, the

applicant will be sent a:

•Vice-Chancellor’sScholarship

Certificate; and

•LetterofConfirmation.

Accepting theScholarshipApplicants will also receive an official

CQUniversity letter of offer and a

student contract. To accept their place

at CQUniversity they must complete

and return the signed contract to the

university together with their fee

payment. This also acts as acceptance of

the scholarship.

Scholarship AppealsThere is no right of appeal should the

applicant be unsuccessful in securing a

scholarship.

The International Postgraduate

Research Award (IPRA) provides the

successful candidate with a grant for

relocation, research support and thesis

submissiontothevalueofAU$19,231

per annum for a two year Master or

three year Doctoral program.

This scholarship is only available

to students wishing to study at theRockhampton campus.

Am I eligible to apply?You must have first class honours or

equivalent.
