     Attending college can be quite expensive for students and their families. Luckily, there are many

    college scholarships and contests available to help pay for a college education. Students should seek 

    out and apply for scholarships in which they meet the eligibility requirements. Below are 92 college

    scholarships and contests with March deadlines. Only brief information about each scholarship islisted. Therefore, students are encouraged to visit the scholarship websites to get further details

    about eligibility and requirements.

     A Nurse I Am Scholarship

    Description: Scholarship is open to students who are enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an

    accredited LVN/LPN, RN degree (AND or BSN), diploma, or RN-to-BSN program, and must

    begin/have begun class no later than Jan. 31, 2015.

     ACS Scholars Program

    Sponsor: American Chemical Society (ACS)

     Amount: Up to $5,000

    Description: Scholarship is open to African-American, Hispanic/Latino, or American Indian students

    who are graduating high school seniors or college freshmen, sophomores or juniors intending to or

     American Council of the Blind Scholarship Program

    Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who are Presbyterian Church

    (U.S.A.) members entering college in fall 2015 at a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) related college or

    diagnosis or the diagnosis of a loved one. Applicant must have been between the ages of 15 and 39

    Women's Western Golf Foundation Scholarship

    Engineering For You 2 Video Contest

    Sponsor: National Academy of Engineering (NAE)

    Description: Competition is open to all individuals, including students in grades K-12 and current

    college and graduate students. Contestants must submit a video on a topic related to engineering.

    Description: Applicant must be enrolled full-time at an

    accredited four-year college or university in the United

    Harriet Fitzgerald Scholarship

    Life Lessons Essay Contest

    Description: Scholarship is open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia

    and Puerto Rico, who are between 17 and 24 years of age and have experienced the death of a

    parent or legal guardian. Applicant must be currently enrolled in, or have been accepted to, acollege, university or trade school. Applicant must submit a 500-word-essay or a 3-minute video

    discussing how the death of their parent or guardian affected their life financially and emotionally.

    school senior or graduate who plans to enroll or students who are already enrolled in full-time

    undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-

    technical school.

    "Frame My Future" Scholarship Contest

    Description: Applicant must be a legal resident of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia

    and intend to enroll as a full-time student at a U.S. college or university in the 2015-2016 academic

    Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program

    Sponsor: Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State

    Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate students in good academic standing who are U.S.citizens. Applicant must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant and is applying to or has been accepted
