At the Early Learning Center at Crossroads & Crossroads Kids we desire to provide a safe (both emotionally and physically) place for kids to reach their full potential. We will do this by providing high quality care, which includes tutoring, mentoring and more, that empowers them through the love of Christ to be confident life-long learners.

PROGRAM

Daily Schedule

Because the kids have been sitting on a bus for a while and have been in school all day we give them outdoor play time directly when they unload from the bus. After this we come inside for a nutritious snack. Following snack, we have power hour, during which the students do their homework with help from their teacher and individual tutoring. From power hour we head outside to let off some more energy. This time can lead to a variety of activity from playing group games & team building exercises which will provide for a lot of experiential learning to a cool science project, playing a fun math game or cooking our snack for the following day. Our specialized school age classroom we have reading nooks and journalling centers, as well as dress-up areas for creative expression and art & craft centers. We desire to provide unique experience that complement both home and school.

We are centrally Located!

We are located on Pease Rd, one block off of Burlington Blvd. Take the George Hopper exit follow across Burlington Blvd. Take the first left onto Walnut St and then drive straight into our parking lot! Or you can take Anacortes St which turns into Pease RD and we are on the right. We are in the same building as Common Ground Coffeehouse.

How do we get them there?

Thanks to the awesome bussing program within the Burlington Edison School District we are able to bus to our center from all B-E elementary schools. The children will be dropped off right outside our center and our caring staff will meet them at the bus. Their parent can pick them up at our center by 6pm.

Daily Rate during school breaks: $27.27

Traditional Kindergarten Enrichment monthly rate: $486

DSHS subsidies available and accepted.

We only have a few spots left in our program. Please contact us if you have a student you believe would benefit from joining us here. We would love to work with the families to help them receive the subsidy.

We also desire to work with you, the students teacher & others to meet each students individual needs. Because we are only licensed for 15 students we are able to personalize our care for the students.

Our Steering Team boasts of a retired B-E counselor who works closely with us to help meet students emotional and educational needs. We also have teachers with varying credentials from teaching certificates to a recreation degree.
